I bought this almost a year ago and am coming back to leave a review. For reference, I have an iPad 8. This is a good solid case, does the job admirably as advertised. I’m very satisfied and if I ever have to get a replacement I’ll come right back here. It’s definitely water resistant if not waterproof. I wouldn’t drop it in a pool and leave it but it’s okay to use it in the bath. Of the various abuses I’ve put it through, I’ve brought it to my microbiology lab, spilled isopropyl alcohol on it, washed it after someone sneezed on it (during the height of COVID) which then became semi regular washings in the sink, my kid spilled juice on it…throughout it all, this case has survived. I’ve even dropped it on tile from about 4 ft. iPad was absolutely fine. The one issue I have is that the face scratches easily. If you’re using this as a note taking device, watch out for scratches. The front face bows out a bit so sometimes you have to press down with the pencil. bought a film to cover the face and cut it down to fit the front. For me, the sensitivity is unaffected and the pencil still works just fine. The case also adds a bit of weight. It’s sturdy but a little heavy. Also have to crank the volume up. Like I said, I would repurchase this case again and I definitely recommend it. I've had this case for a year now and it has been really great. I'm really not rough on my things but the durability seems good. The flap sealing the charger port recently broke off. I contacted the seller about it since like I said, I am very gentle on my things and they very promptly answered me and sent a whole new case. I have never tested it's waterproofing and would never try to submerge my iPad but it definitely seems like it would withstand a bit of water. It has some scratches from normal wear and tear on the back but aside from that and the charge plug coming clean off, it's held up pretty well. The stand works well and I use it daily in landscape mode. There is no way to stand it up in portrait mode. The ring is a nice touch though I never use it. Pros; Hard to get in place but should be & Feels Tight 👍, Extra Protection Gaurds on corners, Raised Edge all the way around Top & Bottom, and The Buttons ALL Work, Cons; The outer Seal slightly opening in spots, Only slightly muffled sound, and the Screen cover isn’t pressed down on screen but for Full Protection I have to deal with it. I feel as I can trust it for Spray of water 💦 or Rain but Hopefully never have to test the Water Depth Test. 4 Stars. Could have been 4.5 but the Cons I say No only 4 ⭐️s. ... show more

I bought this case so that I can keep my iPad above my sink on a breakfast bar to watch and listen to entertainment while I do the dishes. Works pretty good for that! It’s been splashed a lot and has kept all the water out! It comes with a nice cloth to clean the iPad before installing the case that also works great wipe the water marks off if you splash it. The stand on the back doesn’t feel extremely sturdy like some other cases that I’ve had, but it’s fine if you’re leaving it propped up somewhere. That being said, the stand doesn’t come attached for you and you get the opportunity to custom stick the stand wherever you need. 2nd one I’ve purchased, these are fairly durable. My special needs son has literally chewed through multiple Otterbox Defenders. Ripped out the plastic, broke the seals and ruined multiple iPads. Defenders are not an inexpensive case and in most cases one of the most durable. We tried this one and we’re been going 6 months strong with hardly any wear, and it’s already lasted 2 months longer than our last Defender. We got this second one to replace the case he destroyed of his sisters. She’s also really happy it’s purple. Couple other notes: the stand has an adhesive that has a strong bond. Once it goes on it’s on and takes a good effort to remove. I don’t think I would have much success reattaching it. If you want to use it, think about the best placement for ahead of time. Lastly, in case you missed it, it has an Apple Pencil charging dock. It worked as expected when I used to charge my work pencil. I like the case overall but I’m strongly disappointed that the pencil holder didn’t hold it snuggly and it kept falling off that I can’t find it now. The case is supposedly waterproof but it has all kinds of debris inside of it so I don’t see how it’s really waterproof.
