I purchased this camera to use while fishing on my kayak to record any catches. The audio with the waterproof case is not the best, so I swapped the back to the included one with cutouts. The battery life also left a lot to be desired, it ran for about 45 minutes. I ended up drilling the side of the case where the charging port is by, and this way I have the camera running off a portable battery and it will be recording for basically as long as I have memory available. While this means it’s no longer waterproof, it better serves the purpose which I wanted it for, and is fairly splash proof. The image quality is pretty good and I like the option of being able to change resolution and frames per second so you can get a little bit more footage on your SD card. Connecting to the app on my phone was fairly easy and straightforward. It is intuitive and lets me start recordings and see if the camera is angled properly, since it’s not placed within reach on my kayak. If your goal is to have a usable camera within a tighter budget, this is a great alternative to a GoPro.

So far, this is an excellent action camera for its size and versatility. It's hard to believe all that's included for the price. Its small form factor allows you to carry it everywhere. The system on the camera is easy to navigate. You will not need to worry about changing settings because everything is done automatically. The waterproof case comes included with the camera and works perfectly though I haven't used it underwater. I use the case for protection while use on my boat and kayak. Once you are connected to the App, you can download your video footage wirelessly. The wireless remote allows you to start recording immediately when needed. The battery life isn't bad and thoughtfully, two batteries were included. I recommend this camera if you are looking for a versatile camera that does not break the bank. If I had one complaint, I wish that the screen was brighter. In bright light, it is hard to see image detail.

The batteries that came with this camera are not 1350mah. They are 1050 batteries with a shorter runtime. Edit: I bumped this up to 4 stars due to the seller contact. The seller reached out to me regarding the batteries. They are offering to make things right. The camera itself does work well. The buttons are not a big deal to learn. The picture is good for a sub $100 action camera. The 4K shows a good picture. I am looking forward to a dive trip with the camera. Will share the results after the trip.

*Second and final update* I received the new replacement camera and after some testing, it has become apparent that the original purchase had some kind of malfunction that made it overheat and turn off. The new camera works just fine and I have no more complaints about functionality. *Update* I am updating the review after the company reached out to me and said the overheating malfunction was "not normal" and they would replace the camera. Customer service alone has added two more stars to the review. If the new camera operates properly, I will update this review again because my only real complaint was with the camera overheating. *Original Review - One Star* For the most part, this camera is just okay. I thought the battery was dying way sooner than advertised but after using an external battery to get more record time, I figured out it was actually getting hot and shutting down. (I had my suspicions after the first use when the battery only took 20 minutes to recharge when it was supposedly dead)

I use these cams as dash cams in my vehicles, sometimes I even use them on my bikes or on my ski helmet. Having an action cam with a good range of imaging form bright sunlight to very low light is important to me. I sat down and compared this cam to others I still use. One shot is comparing to a DBPOWER EX7000, it has a bigger screen but also a better low level image. All the darker screens are the CamPark Xtreme UHD 4K. The next set of images shows an even older DBPOWER EX 5000 over the CamPark Xtreme, I consider these cams the best, just a 1080 cam with great images including great low light images. The other shows a cam with a smaller screen, it must have been built by the same people who made the DBPOWER EX 5000, great clear image, just a smaller screen. The next comparison shows a very good low light image on the top cam and as usual the CamPark Xtreme is the darker image. The only thing is the great low light image IS A CamPark CAM!! I included an image of the front of that cam, no fancy name just very good images and able to capture very images in good low light. Sometimes I feel like dropkicking this cam back to Amazon. Well a least you can't see my feet very well in those low light images.

Is it a GoPro? Not at all however this little camera comes with a ton of attachments and two batteries. The picture and sound are not the greatest but it is worth the cost. Perfect for someone getting their feet wet in the action camera world.

The media could not be loaded. I like this camera more than the others that I have because to me it's easier to use. For instance, on the touch screen at the bottom its quick and easy to switch quality settings and turn on and off time lapse. I rated the battery only at four stars because I wish they would last longer but that is something I wish about all the cameras I have owned so it's not a down fall compared to others just a wish of mine. First time I used the camera my videos didn't have sound but that was my fault because I didn't read the instructions all the way and didn't realize I needed to make sure that sound was enabled. But it was an easy fix after I noticed it. I have included a short video clip to show its time lapse and the other part to show the stabilization of being on a skid steer working with a rotating attachment.
