PROS: 1. Overall we like the look of the set, old fashion style with foot rest ring on the lower part to prevent leg fatigue from dangling, and sturdy metal frame. Delivered on time and in good condition. 2. We believe the price is reasonable compared to other brands. The catch is that one has to assemble chairs. If you like to work with tools and hands, it is fun and gratifying once they are done. All in all the assembly steps are very easy. The screws and nuts holes are actually straight and fit properly - no need to worry about stripping of the threads. 3, The swivel mechanism works quietly and smoothly. Cons: 1. All shipped parts are in good order and condition, except one seat cushion which has a small cut on the edge (see photos) of the faux leather cover. I submitted for a replacement cushion to the seller via Amazon instead of disassembling all two chairs, repackage the items to be shipped back the seller. (Had to do this for another set of furniture I bought. 2. The seats are a bit small (15.5" in diameter). I think this product would sell much better if they make the seats larger (16.75 - 17" diameter) 3. An average weight 175 -200 lb person may find the foam density not as supportive. ... show more

The stools are tall, loved that. They look nice. But when you sit down they are very uncomfortable. They looked a little plush on the seat but were hard as a rock. The back of the chair with the size of the seat gives no room for comfort, makes you feel like your falling off the chair
