You’ll never know if it works. It would take a couple years and disassembly of your water heater to find scale. Other than that, the assembly was easy.

I’ve had this installed for about a year now I haven’t really noticed too much difference and the hardness of the water, but that sort of a hard thing to gauge and and so far it hasn’t leaked.

This is my second Waterdrop product. I also have an under sink filtration system. This scale inhibitor is a must when installing a tankless water heater to prolong the life of your water heater. Others have reported leaks at the threads, but if you use a good amount good teflon tape & tighten appropriately, you should be fine. Other than that, nothing else I can report on until about a year when its time to flush out my tankless heating system. Eddie K out !!

An inline water filter to filtrate your lead water. I mean water to make it taste better or something. I don't know how well it works. I have not got to hook it up yet. I'm gonna say it's gonna work good though, what do you think

The threads on the tee fitting don’t adequately match the threads on the American threads of the male fittings used to connect to water line. I had taken apart three times and used blue ptfe tape and used two 18” pipe wrenches to tighten. Continue to have drip leak on both sides. Will take apart and use tape and leak lock thread sealant with a pipe vise.

The filter does a great job reducing scale, which is why we bought it. When I installed it, I had a drip I couldn’t get stop. Took it apart and replaced it, but it still dripped. Called the company and they responded within a few minutes. They sent a replacement which I received in a couple days. No more drips. Great product, great customer service, I highly recommend this product.
