This was exactly the item I needed to remove a couple of links from a Seiko watch band. The pin punch tool works great but care is needed to make sure the tool's pin is accurately aligned on the watch band pin. Users are amateur jewelers when doing this! Be patient. The instructions were OK and there are numerous helpful YouTube videos out there as well. The hammer and watch band holder block are very helpful.

After spending two days trying to remove the pin from my watch band to take out a few links, I finally decided to give this kit a try instead of taking it to a jewelry or watch shop and paying more than the cost of this tool. I'm glad I did! It removed the pin in about **10 seconds**. I couldn't believe how easy it made the job after all the frustration I'd been through. For the price, this kit is an incredible value. It easily paid for itself by saving me a trip to the shop and the labor charge for something that only takes a professional a few seconds to do. You get what you pay for, but this worked well enough. The clamp pin remover had a bit of play in the screw, so you have to guide the bit a little to ensure it hits the pin correctly. The pin then is very easy to remove. The little mallet works well enough and the link holder does what it is made for.

Very happy and surprised I was able to remove a link from my bracelet and reassemble first try. Worked as promised. I had to use the pin holder with the mallet. The other tool did not lineup. I recommend a headlight flashlight and really good vision. Definitely a great purchase even if I only use it once.
