The old Splendide lasted from 2005 when new until March 2026. It is installed in a 45 foot Motor coach and we are full-timers. Great product and the improvements on this one is even better. We enjoy how quiet this unit is during all modes, especially the balance-spin feature. The Superwash feature is cool too. You can’t go wrong with Splendide. Pay attention to you load size and keep it to 11lbs, especially during the dry cycle or you’ll be there for a couple of hours trying to get them dry. Regarding delivery, the driver was professional and was willing to help me bring it in the coach. The extra touch topped it all! Thanks Amazon. You’ve got a great vendor here. ... show more

    • Wish I had pulled the trigger and bought one of these 2 years ago.
Wasn't sure what to expect ordering a washer/dryer unit on Amazon. Delivery was flawless. The unit works perfectly. Used it on a 9 week camping trip earlier this summer. What a game changer not having to go to a laundrymat.

I've only had it installed a few days, but so far this is a great washer/dryer combo. Has bigger capacity than my old Whirlpool HE RV sized washer or the RV sized whirlpool dryer. Washes and dries in one go, and despite a lot of complaints that it doesn't dry well, mine does. I've run 3 loads through it so far, and have not had an issue with clothes still being damp.     • Disappointed so far.
Compact, heavy, does everything in one small footprint. Just not well. I've been collecting error codes like a card game. Gonna get 'em all. Nice that it’s 110V. That’s why I went with it. Included hot and cold hoses. Does an ok job of washing and drying. Kinda glitchy. Went to dry some clothes and it decided to turn into a centrifuge. It started a spin cycle and continued to speed up in steps for the next 9 minutes, spooling up like a turbo until I finally chickened out and stopped it. Tried again and it dried normally. Super wrinkly. Have a good iron handy or look like a California raisin cosplayer, even fresh out of the machine. Gave an error code on the second load, and the included troubleshooting guide recommended to unplug it for a minute. Which cleared the code. Gives an error every time I run it. I look at this machine, and then load the basket into the car to go to the laundrymat. I think I have a $1500 shrapnel hazard. Now to deal with customer service. ... show more

    • Better than the separate washer dryer units we had in our house.
So first, this is for a boat that we live on. We went into getting the Splendide knowing the capacity is not as great as residential units, but it's just my wife and I so that's fine. We'll start with the good. Takes about the same time to go through cycles as our residential units did (maybe even less depending on what's being washed/dried). We have the vented version which I feel is a plus in that regard. Doesn't use a bunch of water which is great living on a boat since it draws from our drinking water. Compact! That's a bigee! We have space for separate washer dryer units but wanted to condense for additional storage and easier access to port side stabilizer fin which sits in the bottom half of the compartment. The Splendide fit the bill on this. Relatively easy to hook up. HEAVY which I like as I feel like in rough seas it'll stay put. I will secure it with something for safety but truly am not real worried. Cons. Only thing I can think of is if you dry a full load there will be wrinkles. We don't really give a rat's ass about that as we're both retired and as long as we are clean and don't stink, all good! ... show more

We had to replace our current combo in our RV. I was always disappointed with the wrinkles with our old one. This one is.awesome! Dry time is a little.little longer than a stand alone dryer. But the choices of dry time and temperatures makes for fresh wrinkle free clothes. Can even run a short fresen cycle. Love it!! ... show more
