  • This will work when the Official Sony PSVR2 PC Adapter will not work!!!!
I bought 2 brand new Sony PSVR2 PC adapters and neither of them would work. I was about to give up, but I decided to give this WARRKY 3rd party device a try. I had seen a few reviews with people who tried to use the Official Sony PSVR2 PC Adapter, and they tried the WARRKY and it worked. Same for me. The WARRKY has worked on every 3.0 and 3.2 USB port that I have plugged it into. I was worried about lag and latency, but this thing is perfect. I did an A.I search and this is what A.I said: TLDR: Sony adapter is terribly constructed and the WARRKY is a premium PSVR PC Adapter 1. Upgraded Internal Integrated Circuits (ICs) The Warrky adapter is built with an upgraded IC processing chip designed specifically for broader compatibility with various Windows motherboard controllers. Sony’s official adapter uses a highly rigid, proprietary chip that strictly enforces tight USB handshake protocols. If your computer's motherboard has minor voltage fluctuations or outdated USB controller firmware, the Sony adapter will refuse to communicate and vanish from Device Manager, whereas the Warrky chip is more forgiving. 2. Better Electrical Signal Shielding The PSVR2 handles an immense amount of simultaneous data, splitting uncompressed DisplayPort video and high-bandwidth USB information over a single connection. Sony’s Setup: Uses standard, unshielded plastic housing and basic rubber cables that are highly susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI) from your PC power supply or graphics card. This interference can completely break the USB data handshake. Warrky’s Setup: Uses an aluminum alloy shell and thick nylon-braided cabling. The metal casing blocks external EMI, ensuring the delicate USB signal reaches your motherboard without degrading. 3. Native Power Negotiation The PSVR2 headset draws a massive amount of power to run its dual OLED displays. The official Sony adapter has a known issue where it fails to properly step up external wall power if the PC's USB port is simultaneously trying to deliver low-voltage bus power. This creates a power conflict that locks up the device. The Warrky unit utilizes an isolated power management configuration that relies entirely on its included 15W AC wall adapter for the headset, completely separating it from the PC’s USB power rails 4. Bundled, Verified Cables Sony forces users to buy their own separate DisplayPort 1.4 cables. Many users inadvertently buy "passive" or lower-tier DP cables that cannot handle the massive data stream, causing the adapter to crash or go unrecognized. Because Warrky bundles a verified, high-spec DisplayPort 1.4 cable right in the box, it eliminates the user error and compatibility issues associated with mismatched third-party wires. ... show more

  • Waste of time, buy the official Sony adapter
Completely useless, doesn't work. With the Warrky PSVR2 adapter, my headset keeps telling me to remove and look at the computer screen. Sometimes also get the pop-up that says the Display Port connection isn't fast enough. Warrky supplies the cable! I cannot get past the PlayStation setup. I tried all the troubleshooting steps I could find online without success. This made me lose a lot of time until I decided to purchase the official Sony adapter. Surprise! I've been playing Half-Life Alyx flawlessly since. Don't waste your time with this. ... show more

  • Works perfectly—just remember to restart during setup!
Works perfectly—just remember to restart during setup! I am very pleased with this adapter; it performs exactly as I had hoped. While my initial research suggested that avoiding third-party converters in favor of the official Sony one was the safer bet, I can confirm that this Warrky model works just fine. I did encounter one minor snag during the initial setup that is worth noting. After installing SteamVR and the PlayStation VR2 App, the device would not connect successfully at first. It turns out that a quick system restart was required for the new drivers to load and initialize properly. If you find yourself stuck during the connection process, try a reboot! Since that initial setup step, the connection has been flawless. It is a reliable, high-quality alternative to the name-brand adapter. ... show more

  • It's not spectacular, but neither is the licensed version
I bought two of these, and have only opened one. It seems to work so far, but was a bit difficult to get to that state. I have read that the official licensed product has the same issues, so that's what you shoild expect with any of these. Make sure that the headset has a clear line of sight to this little box, and that the controllers have a clear line of sight to your computers Bluetooth. This device needs a USB 3.0 port, preferably not right next to the Bluetooth, and the device should not be right next to the computer, though the leangth of cords they provide don't leave you a lot of options. Make sure your video card is good enough and has the propper port on it for this device. I included photos of the video cord and the device. Edit: Both are hooked up now. No problems with either, except that I now know that it works best when the hood has a clear line of sight to the device. If you are having issues with the controllers, keep in mind that this device has nothing to do with them at all. That being said, the controllers also need a clear line of sight to your Blutooth antena. We had to get a better antena to use our controllers on the second PC. ... show more

  • Works PERFECTLY! Highly suggested for those seeking PSVR2 use with their PCs!
Worked perfectly with no lag and opened up our gaming library on PC! Sony not keeping theirs in stock forced me to buy a non Sony branded adapter so I looked at the plethora of offerings, this one works perfectly and is easy to set up. My son loved VR, being able to use the PSVR2 on our PS5 pro AND pc (9950x3d and 7900xtx, other PC 9800x3d and 7900xtx), it truly is amazing. ... show more

  • Replace the displayport cord to a quality 1.4
I was ready to return this after struggling for 16 hours trying to get my psvr2 to connect to pc. The connection kept going to black screen during set up. The fix was that the display port cord that comes with this is not effective. As soon as I went to Walmart and bought the 25 dollar displayport 1.4 cord everything functioned as intended with no lag and connected effectively. Long story short this adapter is great but get a better display port as the one that comes with is not that great. Also I had to use small extension cord for power cable as it's only 3 feet ... show more
