Much cheaper than the official sony product and works just as well with minimal setup! I'm on a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop with 2 USB-C ports, but no displayport out. I simplty bought a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter and this device works great with that. As long as you have a USB-C port that supports DP Alt mode (which is pretty much any USB-C port that supports display out in general these days), this will work perfectly with the PSVR2 as long as you get the right displayport adapter. Just make sure you get USB-C or HDMI *to displayport*, not the other way around. Most of these cables and adapters are uni-directional, so you need to make sure you get one the goes from a whatever port you have source TO displayport display. It also must support displayport 1.4 or higher since the PSVR2 requires 1.4. Meet that requirement and you're good to go!

I had a small issue with getting it to work, but that was my SteamVR settings. The PSVR2 headset was glitching out in the display when it was set to 90fps in the steam settings. Setting it to 120fps fixed the issue and I was able to do the whole PlayStation VR2 setup. It does not like being set to 90fps. Even with a high quality USB-C extension cable to add some length (about 5ft) it runs as expected. I can't compare it to the official pc adapter to sony, but I'm sure its just as good. I also use some of that transparent double sided tape stuff you can buy on here to keep it stuck to my desk so I dont accidentally break the adapter.

I havent even gotten a chance to try it yet, because this product comes with an incredibly antiquated display port connector - NOT HDMI. The year is 2026, display ports were antiquated back in 2010. No one uses this technology anymore.

This works awesome. There will probably be a hurdle or two to set up, but there is lots of great info out there on the web. I'm still learning about all the possibilities using the PSVR on PC, but I can tell you all the Steam stuff is pretty easy to get into. Yesterday I set up the program "Revive," which allows you to play many (not all, do your research!) of the games that are exclusive to the Meta headsets/store. Lone Echo 1 is incredible.

Included display port cable didn't meet psvr2 app minimum requirements and had to buy one separately. Still cheaper than the Sony adapter.

I've be using this for about a month now and it's been working great. I'm able to play PCVR games on Steam using my PSVR2 headset. The setup was easy and the directions are pretty clear. My computer is a bit old, and I run games at 1920 x 1080 and I haven't experienced any lag using this adapter.
