This paddle came nicely packaged in a magnetic closure box, held in place by foam cushioning. Included in the box was overgrip tape and a paddle cover. The paddle cover had a premium feel to it. It consisted of woven pleather with interior lining and weighed about 6 oz. The paddle face has nice grit. It's described as edgeless, but it does come with installed edge tape that is almost flush with the face except for the thickness of the tape. My paddle had a stock weight of 7.95 oz. The stock grip was a little too smooth for my liking, so I immediately placed a tackier overgrip. By feel, the twist weight was slightly lower than I preferred, so I added 0.5 gm of lead tape to each bottom corner. My configuration ended up with a total weight of 8.2 oz. I took that configuration to the court and found that although it had good control, it was lacking in power. My returns keep falling short or hitting the net, along with my blocks and resets. I realize that a lot of that is due to poor technique, but there was a definite difference when compared with my pricier main paddle. So I decided to add another 0.5 gm to each top corner to help with power, and to 3 and 9 for improved sweet spot and stability. This new configuration made a huge difference in play. There was definitely more pop and power without a significant decrease in hand speed. I was surprised by how well it played. With my customization, this became a great paddle for me. While I will still use my significantly pricier paddle as my main paddle, I plan to keep this in my bag as backup. After modifications, this paddle is good enough that I actually plan to use this as my main paddle when I travel for a month, since I don't want to risk losing or damaging my other paddle in transit. This paddle is great for intermediate players looking for an all court paddle, and who don't mind making adjustments with weighted tape to make it perfect for their style of play. Advanced players might prefer a paddle with more pop and power, but this is definitely decent for advanced play after some customization. ... show more

This is a very nice, stylish paddle that would be a great gift set for the aspiring pickleball player as it comes in an amazing presentation case with a cool paddle cover and extra grip tape -- very fancy! The paddle itself has an aggressive T700 carbon fiber face which is great for control shots. The paddle feels quite light and well balanced but power hitters might want to add weight for their shots because this one is all about control. The grip is very nicely cushioned with a premium grip wrap but is on the smaller diameter so it should fit more hand sizes. The kit includes added premium grip tape for those who want to add more bulk to the grip if they have larger hands. I like it as is as the grip is quite nice, even if a bit narrower than I like. The paddle is fairly priced as is but would be a steal on sale from an up and coming brand. Again, would make for an impressive gift to the new player as this paddle screams "cool" and "premium". ... show more

The paddle comes in a nice package. The paddle cover feels very premium and better quality than the ones I bought in the past. The paddle I got is thicker than the 16mm paddles since it is 20mm and I had to get used to it. There is definitely less power and more on the control side. There is also no edge guard even though it looks like there is because of the color. The paddle feels extremely gritty and I can add alot of spins on all my shots including the serve, drive and drops. The handle feels comfortable in the hand and long enough to hold with two hands as well. If you like the control style, then this paddle is a good option to start with. ... show more

Paddle is awesome. Love the way it handles. The only thing I do not like is the red trim around the pedal chips fairly easy. Questions how to fix that. I just use my pedal today and it’s all chipped already. Performance are rated at five as far as The trim rated a zero. Still a great pedal.

Great paddle! This is a great paddle. I can actually tell the difference in quality from the lesser paddles that I own. When I hit the ball, you don't hear the annoying sound you hear from cheaper paddles. It is great for spinning the ball, but it is great for my novice girlfriend as well. I’ve been playing pickleball a few times a week, and this paddle instantly felt like a solid upgrade. The feel of each shot is smooth and controlled, especially during softer plays near the net. It gives me a lot more confidence when going for precision over power. The grip is super comfortable—even after a long match, my hand doesn’t feel sore or cramped.
