Perfect fit to replace original molding trim on my 2000 year Astro brand pickup camper top. Original had become brittle from sun exposure and was flacking off. Camper cap now looks new again. Easy enough to install after scraping the trim’s channel clean of the previous vinyl.

This was great. The sun had shrank our original trim (18 years old!!) and I bought this to replace it myself. It was fairly easy to do. Takes a little patience but it handled the corners nicely. Time will tell and I will come back after 1 year to update the durability. But it worked great. NOTE: The person who said "don't make the mistake of putting in backwards" was correct. LOL. I can see how easy it would be to make that mistake. :)

Nice fit for my application.

Material isn’t as thick as what was loose or missing from my Newmar motorhome but fit snug and secure in the upper rub rail. Used this product previously for rub rails on my Jayco camper. Very satisfied with the product. Much easier to install in warm weather than cool weather.

Performs as it should
For one; you need patience. Two; it should be warm out. If you have arthritis; find someone who can help. I don't have it, but it would be a challenge if one did. One person said to use a screen roller, not a bad idea as long as the edge of the screw flange doesn't interfere with getting the roller edge into the channel. I tried it on both a warm day and a 70 deg day, much better to work with on the 80+ day! Looks great on slight curves and straight runs, but looks not so good with harsh curves. With abrupt curves or corners you need to cut 25-35% into the inside edge and let it fold over the lower inside corner or else it binds up and pops out of channel. Dab a little caulking under the flap to keep it from flapping in the wind or letting water in. A heat gun is your best friend if you have to be creative with sweeping corners, but don't heat it too much or it will shrink and you'll have to cut and toss that section. Fit my 7/8" 1988 corner channel trim. Use a pair of high quality sharp scissors or razor knife, a metal 1" or 1-1/4" putty knife to tuck around the screw heads.

Excellent replacement trim for my travel trailer. Remove old trim to get a measurement of what size you need. This was perfect for the wheel wells. Great quality and very easy to install. Install when it’s warm outside. It helps with flexibility. It is a great value.

Fits great when installed properly

I wrote a terrible review previously that matched a few others and I hope this replaces it. You might be installing this upside down! I was. It would not stay in, was just falling out but I was installing it UPSIDE DOWN because I previously installed similar RV door seals but they were more rubbery like and went in opposite side down from these. If it is curling under on you and you find it just popping back out frustrating you, then you are most likely making the same mistake. This installed perfectly when I flipped it. See photos. I was so frustrated and thought it was just flimsy crap but when I did it correctly, it was of course a different result. A few reviews where they say it was lousy and popping out I am certain were installing upside down as I was. Totally stays in the channel NOW LOL. No idea how long it will last but for install and fit I owe them a 5 star now.
