  • High quality product.
Size: 54 inch
My Dislike is Warn has no customer support. I had questions on blade, contacted Warn customer support they responded with support number, Thats the last I heard from them in over a month, failed to respond to 3 emails and customer support number leaves you hanging on phone for 30 min then disconnects. Instruction sheet for mounting looks like it was drawn up by 3rd grade child. ... show more

  • Been Disappointed in Warn for this Plow System: 2022 Yamaha Kodiak 700 Install
Size: 54 inch
Have not actually used this to plow snow yet, I will update the review once I do. However, I am disappointed in the lack of quality instructions to install this plow and with Warn's technical support. Before I purchased this plow system, I called Warn to see if the plow would work with my KFI winch mount plate that I had just installed. The technician replied, sure it should work, and he didn't see any documentation stating that it wouldn't work. Well, when I got the plow sure enough it would work with the mount, so I had to order the Warn winch mount plate. After I got the plate, the install instructions are weak at best. Additionally in order to get the winch contactor installed I had to drill holes in the winch plate since they don't have a place for it on the back of the mount. For the plow since you order 3 parts each come with their own instructions. Make sure you read all three boxes of instructions first. Installation was a pain and doesn't go smoothly. You will probably need two people in parts of the process to make it easier. Finally, the bottom skid plate doesn't fit back on right with the plow installed so you will have to buy longer mounting screws and washers to get it back on. Last but not least, once installed I went to raise and lower the plow and the cheap plastic pulley, they include with this part snapped. I was worried about this when I bought this part since there are plenty on- line reviews with complaints about this part. Well hopefully I can get a warranty replacement pulley from Warn, but I am also going look at metal pulleys. Everything else looks well built, and solid, just disappointed with the process and for this price the installation and pulley quality should be better from a quality company like Warn. ... show more

  • 2000 Honda FormanES 450 and 2009 Polaris Sportsman 850XP
Size: 50 inch
2000 Honda Forman ES 450. All in all the install went well. My brother in law helped me and with a small bag of sockets and a little Dewalt impact driver the job took two hours. Having just two U bolts holding the universal mounting bracket on makes me a bit nervous. BUT! I think being able to hammer those nuts in with the 20v impact driver might help. They they feel rock solid after driving them in. There is a few more holes on the mounting bracket that might be used in conjunction with another set of U bolts that could secure the system a bit better. The blade itself feels rock solid and the spring loaded handle that allows for swinging the blade out left or right is easy to get to and is practically effortless to manage. Because of the push bars not being wider than the frame, the plows maximum height is a bit lower than I would like but I don’t think it’s going to be a big issue come snow fall. I plan to update my review after I use it heavily. For now I would say that it’s worth the money, For now I’ll give it three out of five because of the chinsy U bolt mount and the lack of blade height. If it holds up to a decent amount of pushing snow then I’d ad one more star. UPDATE: I have used this system now all winter long and the bolts have held strong with zero issues. The blade height on my 2000 Honda Forman is "adequate " I did ending up purchasing the same set up again for my Polaris that I recently bought. The blade height on it is incredible.......so much that I don't take it off when I'm just wheeling for fun in the snow with my kid. I ended up selling the front mount "glacier" plow that came with my Polaris because I plow more than just a driveway and the front mount set up is nowhere near as strong as the center mount. So if you have tough Gnarly plowing to do , get your self a center mount I would recommend this to anyone looking to work their equipment hard. yes its kid of a pain in the ass to take it on and off over the weaker front mount but again , I cant say this enough....IF YOU ARE GOING TO WORK YOUR ASS OFF IN SNOW. BUY THIS WARN BLADE AND CENTER MOUNT SYTEM. ... show more

  • Well built, but was difficult to install by myself
Size: 60 inch
I have yet to use the plow, but it appears to be well built and I believe it will last a long time. I only can compare it to my brother-in-law's, which does not appear to be built as well (but works). I only have two complaints. The installation process was complex. I purchased the front-end loader for my Kodiak 400, and had read that it did not fit right for others. I had the same issue. Once I got it on, the Warn Winch would not fit back in because there was a lip on the mounting plate. Like I read, I had to take that and grind it down to get the winch to fit. Had I not read that, I may not have thought to do it. Also, I read that the pully for the winch cable was made of cheap plastic. That's correct, because it broke the second time I lifted it with the winch. Like other threads, I now purchased the metal one which is built much better for $27. Every other part on this is built well, so I have no idea why this is just not included with the kit. I really cannot say how well it works until the snow falls, which should be very soon. ... show more
