  • If you're looking for a ProVantage plow system, READ THIS FIRST
Size: 50 inch
Finding the right parts can be pretty confusing, so allow me to explain the ProVantage System. The entire plow consists of four parts: 1. Vehicle-specific mount kit (One of many part numbers. Check the Warn website to find the one for your particular vehicle.) 2. Push tube assembly (P/N 92100 or 78100; depending on which type of mounting kit you use) 3. A Plow blade (P/N 78950, 78954, 78960, 80954, or 80960; two different styles (straight blade and tapered), three different widths (50", 54", 60") 4. Lift (usually a winch w/ roller fairlead. Alternatively, Warn P/N 84600 is a dedicated lifter) For #1 and #2, there are two basic types: Center Mount and Front Mount. Most vehicles have a center-mount kit available, many have a front-mount kit. If you have the front-mount kit available, I would recommend it, as it allows the plow to lift higher. I've found that it lifts high enough that I can reach over the front rack and turn the plow without leaving my ATV. *** If you select a front mount kit, you need to select the front-mount push tube assembly, P/N 92100 *** If you select a center mount kit, you need to select the center-mount push tube assembly, P/N 78100 #3 is self explanatory, select from one of 5 blade options. #4, If you're buying and installing a winch along with the rest of the components, make sure you read the instructions for the front mount. On mine, parts of the front mount kit replace a couple components on the winch mount kit, so right after you finish installing the winch mount, you've got to take it apart to install the plow mount. Because of this, I strongly recommend buying a WARN winch mount, regardless of what winch you put in it. Warn winch mounts should be compatible with Warn plow mounts. Any decent ROLLER fairlead will work. DO NOT USE A HAWSE-STYLE FAIRLEAD. In addition to their regular fairleads (which will work acceptably) Warn sells a roller fairlead specifically designed for plowing, P/N 69373. This fairlead has a very large bottom roller to reduce the tightness of the bend and extend winch cable life. Warn also sells a 8' synthetic plow lift rope (P/N 68560) to save wear and tear on your regular winch cable. The synthetic rope is much larger than a standard winch line. You'll get a lot more life out of it than a regular wire cable. I recommend a fast winch - you'll be raising and lowering dozens of times while plowing. Make sure you mount your winch control in a convenient location - you don't want to have to reach for it each time. There are a few useful options available: 1. Power Pivot (P/N 79360) - Electric motor rotates the plow blade. If you're doing a lot of plowing, this might be useful. 2. Bucket Loader Conversion (P/N 83133, 84133, or 85133, depending on blade width) - converts a regular plow blade into a bucket loader for handling loose material (sand, gravel, topsoil, mulch, etc.) There are a few hangups you'll have in certain situations. For instance, if you want to use an assembled plow on two different model ATVs, it may or may not work. The vehicle-specific mounting kit contains two "tabs" that bolt on to the push tube and allow it to quickly attach to the mount. The tabs for one model may or may not be the same height or spacing as tabs for another model. If you're trying to have two plows for one ATV (one regular plow and one with the "bucket" conversion) you'll be missing a set of the aforementioned "tabs" for the second plow, and you'll need to contact WARN to obtain a second set. They've been sending them out for free, but contact them first to confirm. Once you've got all the correct parts, assembly SHOULD be fairly straightforward. Unfortunately, you'll be reading from 3-5 different assembly manuals simultaneously, one for each of the parts you purchased, so it can be a little confusing. This is my only real gripe with the whole kit so far. ... show more

  • I honestly think that this is the best value they offer
Size: 60 inch
I have had the most expensive plow that Warn offers (the County, or tapered, blade) and now this one. I honestly think that this is the best value they offer. The tapered blade is good at clearing snow off to the side but, unless you put it at an extreme angle, anything more than a couple inches of snow will still spill out onto the opposite side, requiring another pass to clean up the residual. Same thing with this blade, so why would you pay more for a plow that functions the same...? Additionally, this blade allows for top attachments, which the tapered blade does not. I have yet to attach anything, but just knowing I can put a snow shield or side markers on it is a nice option to have. Actually thought about mounting a couple auxiliary lights on the top edge since the blade cuts off the ATV head light beam and makes it hard to see the ground in front of the plow. Haven't done it, but at least I have that option with the straight blade... And lastly, this blade is able to convert to a bucket, which the tapered blade cannot. I have not ordered the bucket attachment, but I may this summer. Again, this is a nice option to have that the tapered blade does not offer. The tapered blade is slightly thicker metal, but I have not noticed any real difference in functionality or clearing ability. I was somewhat concerned that the blade wouldn't cut down to the surface as well because it was lighter, but that's not the case. It clears just as well as my tapered blade did. I have done a lot of comparison to the tapered version, which I hope is helpful for someone trying to decide between the two. As for THIS blade, it functions very well and is built as well as I would expect for a name brand. Welds are clean and strong, fitment to the push tube was perfect, and it clears snow very well. Very happy with this blade! ... show more

  • Very nice well build plow
Size: 54 inch
The Warn Provantage Plow has a nice build quality. I attached this to my 2019 Yamaha Kodiak. Did the work myself with not much of a problem. Installed a winch, light bar, mounting plate, push tubes, and plow. I put some accessories in my plow, the side markers, plow end stop and rubber flap with an additional ware part installed on top for extra weight and durability. The plow throws the snow very nicely to one side when angled. The ends stop prevents the snow from leaking on the drive. The rubber stop prevents the snow from flying over the top of the plow. Very happy with the set up. Tested it out this season, will do 7 inches of snow with no problem. The only thing I dislike is the wear bar is single sided and overpriced. I will find a work around... to avoid this costly Warn Wear Bar Issue. KFI makes a 54 inch wear bar with three of the holes aligned leaving only 4 more to drill, at half the price and is double sided. I think the 54 inch size is the perfect fit for this ATV. I have tried state plows and 60" plows in the past. ... show more

  • Thank you WARN for a great plow system!!
Size: 54 inch
I LOVE the WARN ProVantage plow system!! Its working perfectly on my 2008 Outlander 500 and is so easy to attach/remove the plow! The plow has been abused though one full Colorado winter so far and shows no noticeable signs of wear. SO GLAD I went with the front-mount instead of the center mount. It's super easy to get the blade way up and out of the way when needed. I don't even bother taking the plow off for a quick romp in the snowy fields after a driveway plow session. Here is my complete plow package BOM. All worked perfectly together and had complete hardware needed.
