This is the real deal it is made out of steel not plastic as some cheaper products are. It works really well even in a tight environment. I use it to store all of my suit jackets above one side of a 6 x 5 by 9 closet. so yea I have maybe a foot more of height on it but it is still only positioned at 8 feet. This is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and in the long run quality is cheaper. ... show more

This is a great feature to add to your closet. I ordered this for my elderly mother in a wheelchair and it’s a little to heavy for her to operate by herself. But it works well for someone of average strength.
