I just got it and honestly, I am pretty impressed! First off, I can't get over how cozy it is. I was a little skeptical about buying something this puffy because, let’s face it, I didn’t want to look like a walking marshmallow, but it fits surprisingly well! The fit is snug enough to keep out the cold but still has enough room for layering if you’re planning to add sweaters or anything underneath. It’s got that perfect balance between warmth and comfort without being too bulky, which is a major win. The first thing I noticed about it was how soft the lining is. I was like, “Ok, this is not your typical jacket!” The material feels more premium than I expected. Now, let’s talk about the hood—yes, it’s huge, and I’m here for it! If you're the type of person who’s constantly trying to shield yourself from cold wind, rain, or snow, then this hood is a game changer. It’s big enough to cover your head and even some of your neck, which is crucial for those harsh winter days. Honestly, I could probably survive a snowstorm and still look fashionable with it. Now, about the waterproof feature. It’s legit! I wore it in a decent amount of rain and snow, and it kept me dry. I didn’t feel like I was walking around in a soggy sponge, which was a huge relief because I tend to get soaked in even light rain. I have tested it out in colder weather too, and so far, no complaints on the warmth front. It traps heat well without feeling too sweaty, and I wasn’t freezing even when the temperature dropped to 30°F. One thing I’d mention is that the pockets could be a bit deeper—sure, they hold my phone and wallet, but if you’ve got bulky gloves or other essentials, it might feel a little cramped. The zipper works fine, but there was a moment where I thought it might get stuck. It’s not a big deal, but definitely something to keep an eye on if you’re in a rush and trying to get in or out of it quickly. Also, I’d recommend giving it a good shake or light fluff after you take it out of the box to give it that full puffed-up look. It’s just a little tip to get the best out of it right from the start. The recycled outerwear part? Love it. It feels good knowing that it’s made with some level of sustainability, which is a nice bonus. I’m not a hardcore environmentalist or anything, but I like knowing that I’m making a small positive impact. As for durability, I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but it’s holding up just fine. I’ve already tossed it around a couple of times, thrown it over my chair after long days, and the fabric still looks new. The stitching hasn’t come undone, and I haven’t noticed any snags or tears. As a heads-up, if you're someone who's between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up. Good quality midweight winter jacket - heavier than your average puffer jacket but not unwieldy or bulky. Outer zipper pockets close securely, and jacket overall provides good warmth and weather resistance. There is nothing fancy about the design or features - just a good, sturdy winter jacket at a reasonable price. Note that the jacket runs a little bit small. I wear a size L in most clothes, and size XL fit me 'just right' and even felt a little short in the arms. (surprising because I've got short arms). If you're between sizes consider ordering a size up.
