Whether you want to keep your children or pets safe or beautify your outdoor living space, this Nantucket no-dig fence is the perfect long-term solution. The best part of is this backyard fence is ease of installation. This innovative no-dig fence installation method doesn't require digging deep holes or pouring concrete, so it takes a lot of the time and labor out of installing your vinyl fence. You install the picket fence post much like chain link has been installed for the past 50 years- by driving a steel 1-5/8 3mm thick galvanized pipe anchor (included) deep into the ground with a sledge hammer or post pounder. If your pipe is slightly crooked after installation, you can utilize the included patented leveling donuts to adjust to level to compensate accordingly. Once you sleeve your vinyl fence post over the pipe, it's straight and level. The end result is a sturdy and strong permanent vinyl fence that will last decades, making it perfect for dog fence or general backyard fence. For more details, see WamBam no-dig fence installation guides. Please note that your picket fence panel comes with a vinyl fence post, pipe anchor and post cap. You will most likely need to order a terminating post to finish your vinyl fence project (separate item- BL19042). This no-dig fence is not designed to be installed in excessively sandy or swampy soil or shale/slate. This picket fence has been independently wind load tested and certified for up to category 1 Hurricane winds, which is why it is strong enough to keep your pets and children safe as a backyard fence or dog fence.

Pros to this fence are it’s delivered to your door, sturdy material, quick installation compared to traditional once you get the hang of it, & real eye catcher. Cons to this fence are you have to purchase an end post separately, you can however purchase a two pack if needed and save money. Second draw back is hammering the pole into the ground. Probably the hardest part was slamming it into the thick dirt. I would recommend a post pounder instead of a sledge hammer but it will still work. Sledge hammer takes quite a bit of swings and make sure it is atleast 5 lbs. once you get past the pole, you have to level. It has levels on the top and bottom of the metal posts to help the white post stand straight. Once you get past the leveling and measuring it’s quick and easy after that however do measure and read the instructions because it is easy to be off by an inch when putting the posts in and they are NOT easy to remove. Also install the pickets last because those can NOT be removed once in place or you’ll have to break them & you’ll be out a fence panel. It is faster and easier to install than a traditional fence but it does cost more for its style. Overall extremely satisfied and the neighbors compliment the separating fence constantly. Adds character to our house now and gives us a sense of boundary next to our neighbor. Great choice for small yards or close neighbors. ... show more

I just got this fence and love it. It is easy to install and looks beautiful The vinyl is very heave and the fence, when assembled is sturdy. Everything is included. All you need is a screwdriver (drill), a tape measure, and a pencil. The rest is done for you.

Pros: looks great, sturdy, can be modified length wise. everything included except: pencil, drill, tape measure, string line, leveler and either a post driver or rubber mallet/sledge hammer. Cons: MY HUSBAND INSTALLING IT (Which is NO REFLECTION on this company or the product). It resulted in a uneven line. If you have an incompetent husband as I do, then hire your handyman to do a professional job. I had to rely on him since my step son wanted to move into the house ASAP and my handyman was unavailable. I only had to fence off 11' to block free falling into an exterior stairwell. So, I can live with it and it's not in a public viewable location. Also the price is NOT too astronomical but it is not the cheapest either. (I would hate to calculate the cost for an acre lot that this house sits on.) Neutral: How well this fencing will weather the extreme weather conditions. My location lowest ever recorded-22 to the hottest ever recorded 115 degrees F. I will try to add an update once we make it to the year mark. ... show more

This fence looks great and is pretty easy to install and set up but it doesn’t feel sturdy once it’s in. It’s not like it’s going to fall down but if you grab it, it shakes back and forth easily.

We enclosed our 1/2 acre with this fence and saved thousands of dollars installing ourselves. My son and husband worked on this for 3 weekends and it is beautiful and just as solid as fences with poured cement for the poles. The no dig design is well thought out and there is help on line if you need it. We spent 8000 and Amazon delivered this to our home and saved $5000 in the quote from a fence company to install it ourselves.     • Every set I ordered had a defect!!! Very disapointed!!

Ordered 11-sets and every single one had broken levelers. Whatever idiot they hired to screw the levelers to the pipe failed to use a torque wrench and cracked the plastic all the way through. I had to re-drill and re-screw every piece. I can understand one cracked piece of plastic here and there, but there are two levelers on each post. Out of 22 levelers, 21 were cracked!! Does this company not do quality assurance? The fence looks great, and aside from all of the extra work I had to do, was simple to put together. The real issues is sturdiness. The first time a neighborhood kid tries to jump over it, or a drunk leans up against it, it's gonna break. And, because the levelers are cheap plastic attached with only one screw they wobble, and that wobble is transferred to the exterior post when finished. If they could attach the levelers better and add another foot to the metal posts, this could be a solid product. But instead someone decided it was better to save $1/unit. ... show more

These were just what we needed. Now we aren't the best at installing even easy fences like this (that's why ours turned out slightly un-straight, and we had to saw a bit off our gate to make it fit because we measured wrong, haha) but if you use a string or know the proper ways to mark your line, & account for the gaps you'll need on either side of the gate, the rest is easy as pie! We wanted to make a dog side of the yard, and a grass side of the yard (since he destroyed the previous one). We installed it earlier this spring. Looks great! NOTE: About 4 caps came broken, but customer service mailed me replacements right away after I called; Our post covers were wobbly even tho straight, so we used leftover vinyl blinds from our house which were the perfect thickness to wedge between the cover & post on the inside.
