I have heavy oak and pine furniture that I have had for almost 50 years. I originally bought it for the sides of a couple of pieces that have been damaged by the sun. After using it on the sun damaged sides of these pieces, I decided to try it on the rest of the furniture. I am really pleased with how the wood absorbed this product. It did require a little more rubbing than other polish I use, but I feel this really is protecting the wood more. I will probably use this every other month, because it wasn't something I could do in 15 minutes. You do need let it sit and apply more in the damaged areas if necessary. You then need to wipe it after the initial application in order to get any residue that hasn't absorbed completely off. They recommend on the bottle 24 hours before wiping, but with the furniture that I used this on as a polish it wasn't necessary. I am very pleased with this product even though it is a bit pricey. ... show more

I tried this as an alternative to odie's, and I really like it. It goes on easier, wipes off easier, and leaves the same level of depth with almost as much shine.

I bought this product specifically for this project. I wanted to keep some originality showing through because this hutch was given to my Mimi from a good friend of hers who led her Christ. After they both passed away I received it. After using some serious elbow grease to get rid of the years of pledge and some light sanding; it was finally time to rejuvenate the wood. In the before photo you can see it looked lighter and dried out. After the product was laid, you can see how fresh it looks. I was surprised how some, of what I assume may have been water marks, disappeared. Bonus points! Overall very pleased, easy to use, and took no time at all. And yes it’s missing one knob, I need a tool to cut the screw to size. ... show more

The first container I received came in a ziplock bag with the lid knocked loose and about 15-20% of the product all over the place. It was a pain to clean up, but since this product is completely plant based it didn’t really bother as much as it would have if it was made with harsh chemicals. It seems to have been a problem with the shipping though, so I can’t really blame the product for that. Either way, the seller quickly sent a brand new container of the product for no extra charge and even allowed me to keep the previous container with the left over walrus oil. I would’ve been happy with just a discount on a new container, so I’m extremely happy with customer support. The new container arrived just a few days later in a box that was properly labeled, “HANDLE WITH CARE. FRAGILE LIQUID.” The can itself was also securely fitted in the box along with plenty of packing paper that allowed for very little movement. I know all of this has absolutely nothing to do with the product itself, but I feel that companies that go above and beyond with the their customer support deserve to be praised. As for the product itself, it works great and it’s extremely quick to apply to any type of furniture that you may not want the harshest of chemicals to be used on for whatever reason. I’ll try to update this review after a bit of time to comment on durability, but honestly like I said, it’s so quick to apply, I doubt it will be much of a problem.
