I used these boards to remake my guest bath countertop. Beautiful to cut and work with. Used some liquid nail to secure and sealed with Rubio Monocoat. There was a slight variance in the thicknesses but for my purposes it didn't affect my project. I went through every board and separated them based on thickness and holes from knots. All the ones with holes were used as my shorter pieces and the thickest ones were used as the "backslash" and facing. Not a bit of waste for my project. 100% would buy again, in fact, I'm anxious to make something else with a new order. ... show more

    • Got the job done
A couple of pieces came chipped, but for the job I was doing I could easily fill with wood filler and then sand down and stain. I get lots of compliments on the finished product. All in all, I would buy again, but if you're looking for extremely high quality, you might want to look somewhere else.

The boards I received were great quality. Going to use them to make a chevron pattern veneer on an interior door.

I received nice pieces of walnut, cut to the sizes described. These are a bit rough and will require sanding, but I expected that. For the amount of time it would have taken me to resaw and cut these pieces, this is a good value.

I bought these boards to clad and refurbish a 40+ year old fly (for fly fishing) display case. It was easy to work with and the boards were practically defect free. Very nice grain. Seemed a little expensive, but overall well worth the price. Boards sanded to an extremely smooth finish.
