Just a few days after the return window the cane split apart at the middle connector. Customer Service worked with me to get the cane replaced and even worked to ensure I am getting a cane that is better suited for me.

What a gorgeous cane! I love all things wood and this is made from a somewhat exotic species from Africa called "wenge". It is a very rare wood that is suitable for items like this. This cane is finished nicely and has a brass connector system that holds the pieces together. It's not a simple screw and nut type arrangement, but rather a brass tube that fits inside a sleeve and then screws together. I'm not sure if this is better than a simple screw, but it sure works well. The handle itself does not have this fancy connector and simply screws into the first section with a metal stud. There is a extra tip that I suppose you have to glue on, but also a very solid rubber "all terrain" tip. The enclosed "strap" that is just a cord and ring and not up to par with the rest of the cane though. The bag is made of a thick cloth and is actually sewn in 3 compartments to keep the wood parts from rubbing against each other - very nice indeed! The cane is not adjustable and you have to order it in the correct length. This product is so beautiful I don't know if I want to use it as a cane or hang it on my wall!

Just got my Walking Cane for Men. Very nice. A much more distinguished looking cane than you can buy in most stores. The good stuff: It is a sturdy, wooden cane. Not the usual metallic monstrosity that is available to buy nowadays. And as such, it looks the part. As someone who occassionally requires the assistance of a cane, it makes me feel more like an aristocrat walking down the street than a broken down old man being propped up by a length of pipe. And while the cane comes in pieces and must be 'assembled' (which should not be the hardest part of your day), it does make it portable if you want to carry it in your backpack or luggage (it also comes with a tote bag); all you need to do is unscrew the pieces. The bad stuff: I know from experience that a walking cane (like a crutch) is rarely a one-size-fits-all item. If it is too tall or short, it can throw off your balance when you walk, exactly the opposite of why you are using it. For my part, the cane is a little bit shorter than what would be considered a proper fit, but it is close enough that I can use it comfortably and safely. While I make fun of the metal canes found in the big box store pharmacies, those canes are adjustable; that is a very important issue. My verdict: It deserves 4 1/2 stars, but fractions do not exist in this world. So we'll have to settle for 4 stars for this piece of art. I know that I've said this many times before: if and when Amazon decides to expand their rating system to include 1/2 stars, the world will be a better place.

As I have gotten older, I have been thinking that I need to get a cane. This is a very nice looking one. The wood is smooth and the brass accents make it attractive. It was very easy to put together and taken apart, will fit in the included case for travel or storage. I like the handle. It fits my hand well and is large enough for stability. And, as my husband pointed out, the curve in the handle makes it easy to pull stuff towards you. I put the tip on it for extra traction on smooth surfaces. On the minus side, because it is wood, this cane is heavier than the aluminum ones. Also, it is not adjustable in height. I am 5'7" and the height is just about right for me, could be just a little higher, but still usable. I had some trouble getting the included strap on the cane, but finally figured out to take it apart and put the elastic band on the staff. But the elastic is very tight and difficult for arthritic fingers to manage. If the height is right for you and you want a very nice wooden cane, this is the one.

This cane is perfect for daily errands and walking around the home, office, and when out shopping. I really enjoy the sleek wooden design which makes the cane feel both comfortable and sturdy. Similarly due to it being metal connectors holding it together I notice that this cane does not loosen and need to be retighten anywhere near as often as my other canes. The rubber tip included makes the cane quite comfortable to support off of and the bag is high quality.

Product is comfortable to use and made from high grade natural wood. This is an ergonomically designed walking device which ensures that it is very easy to hold and even easier to pack. CHICYA's brand detachable walking cane has three main components. Just by inserting the screw- in brass connectors, this device can be assembledd in seconds. Because this cane is lightweight and easy to pack its the ideal accessory for traveling. I intend to have this device handy as a backup tool for future flights. To further enhance the desirability of this product there is an attractive storage bag. The bag is sturdy, has three deep reinforced pockets to protect product from scratches and other damage. Since I am totally impressed with this product's fine craftsmanship and ease of use I can barely wait to have it with me on my next extended road trip.
