I purchased these bracelets on a whim. I just felt like leather bracelets were the one thing missing in my life on that particular day, but I didn't want to go crazy about it. The price was definitely right, and the Tree of Life motif was a total win. I fully expected that because of the price, these bracelets would be extremely low quality and likely to fall apart or have closures that break after one wearing. Happily, Nope! The quality (considering the price) of the leather is perfectly acceptable, and although I suspected that the string closures would quickly fray or come untied, they haven't--even after many wearings. My only complaint is that the dye used on the leather had a very strong smell, but it has dissipated over time. ... show more

    • Tuck the pull strings into the bracelet or be ready to re-tie the knots

I love these kinds of bracelets, and wear one almost every day. However in order to keep the tension on it as well as keep the pull strings from just going everywhere, I usually loop them into the ends so that they are effectively locked in place. Without this method, the bracelets will sometimes slip loose, or worse the knots will come undone and then it won't stay on at all. These work as costume jewelry, but they are not high quality bracelets. I suppose they match the price points. I will wear the black one with the medallion with other higher quality bracelets, but that’s it.

I ordered these as a gift. When I received them I was a bit disappointed. On the picture they appear thicker than they are. But since they weren't that expensive, I kept them. They are okay but be careful they may break.
