This is a very pretty cane, and surprisingly sturdy. It was a little too long for me, so I sawed an inch off the bottom and replaced the plastic end caps on the cut end, and it's a perfect fit. I'm 5'4" - maybe 5'3" now. It is so portable that it will fit easily in a large purse or in the storage slot on the side of my car door. I use a wide rubber band to secure it closed. I can't use the strap because it won't stay on my wrist. It keeps sliding off. But that's a minor annoyance. I love the cane. And it was a great value for the money.

Bought for my 91 year old mother who was not excited about being seen using with a cane. She is a young, active classy 91 year old. She loved the colorful floral print and she is surprised how much it stablelizes her while walking. She gets so many compliments on her cane that she doesn't mind taking it along to help her walk. Plus it folds up easily to keep in a carry bag. Good quality. Happy with the purchase.
