When the collar that fixes the two metal tubes together is snug, this is a solid cane; and a person likely could use it with confidence. It is light in weight; and, to my experience, it is easy to handle.

The cane itself is well made, solid, and the handle has a really comfortable smooth feel to it. Easy to clean the handle as well. The cane was a little short for me. I had to drill an extra notch to reach the height I needed. I’m 6’2” barefoot, so with shoes this didn’t work until I did that. If you’re under that height, this cane won’t be any trouble at all and I would recommend it. If you’re my height or taller, I would suggest looking for something else. ... show more
