    • Not true OEM fit, but works great
2004 Jeep Liberty 3.7 V6. The hardest part of the install was dealing with the rubber hangers. Use lots of WD40 on them. Get some M10x1.5 flange nuts and a 2.25" clamp. I ordered the matching tailpipe which slides into this muffler. The muffler is quiet which I like. Note the Walker muffler is made for a few applications, not just the Liberty. It bolts in fine, but the dimensions are slightly larger than OEM. Mine was reverberating badly throughout the cabin. Turns out it was metal-to-metal rubbing on my rear control arm bolt. For now I stuck a chunk of rubber to isolate the bolt and muffler, and that is doing the trick. Long term I'll need to smash a relief dent or bend things around if possible. I recommend getting the matching tail pipe. Also, my Jeep is running better because the proper back pressure has been restored and it feels like the low end torque is back. My old muffler was rotted inside and out and I was more or less running a straight pipe at that point. ... show more

    • Quiet Muffler with Good Performance:
The walker muffler performed well and was quiet. My car, a 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport with a 3.7L V6 engine performed properly without any lugging or stumbling in any of the gears, especially the 2nd. & 3rd. gears while shifting.
