Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2023 by What can I say we got the package my son was excited to use it we charge the battery we went out we did use it when they had a blast with it but with weather and and school and everything we were unable to use it as much as he'd like to the second time we used it it worked for like 5 minutes and then it just died something in the wiring or trigger malfunctioned I put in for a return they can credit my account on Amazon I don't like the facts that it took them one day to charge me but it takes 30 days to get the money back I don't even know if they received the item back as of yet I have the tracking number it says it was received I still have no refund my son does want another item but for almost $60 it should have lasted more than 15 minutes used I would have to rate this product a two star I understand things go wrong sometimes but I'm on a fixed income it's $60 is a lot of money to have the item not work properly and then to have to go through all of the return process and hope you get your money back

Update: I installed this in Sept 2014 and it's now April 2017 and it's completely rusted/flaking. I know it probably would have lasted longer if I was somewhere other than New England with the winter road chemicals, but I'm still kind of disappointed. Original Post: I purchased this resonator assembly for my 2005 Cobalt after discovering a hole in the pipe between the resonator and muffler on the stock one. This assembly fit perfect and paired with the Walker Quiet Flow SS muffler, it sounds great. It's whisper quiet! It was easy to install and didn't take very long. The longest time spent was removing the rusty old one. You will need to buy the gasket, clamp, and the two exhaust insulators (rubber hangers) separately. I used the Walker website to look at a diagram and make a list of the parts I would need, then purchased them all on Amazon. I highly recommend the Walker setup if you want to make your exhaust sound like like new again! ... show more

Item arrived before the estimated arrival date. The pipe fit perfectly. I had to buy another muffler because i couldn't get the old, rotted pipe out of the muffler and didn't want to fight with it

    • Too long to use with OEM muffler
Hmmm. It's too long and the bends have puckers in them. Trying to put this on my old cobalt to sell it. Old one rusted around heatshield. The muffler seems fine. But the OEM muffler is huge. This Walker pipe seems sized for smaller muffler. Going to have to cut this down a bit to make fit with muffler as I'm not interested in sinking another $90 into a muffler for a car that I'm going to slap a "for Sale" sign on. But it's going to be tight fit as the walker piper is crinkled at bends, and therefore I can only put sleeve where the muffler is about to start. Would be nice if this could have been sized to not cause another problem. ... show more

This is great replica of the one that comes on the 2008 Pontiac G5. Everything will fit perfectly. Depending on your car, you may have to trim and weld your muffler to it. The catalytic converter attaches directly to it with the provided screws, bolts, and gasket.
