I installed this along with the walker cat on an 05 Corolla. The fit with both parts was perfect and straightforward to install myself. I can definitely tell a difference in the sound but it is subtle and nothing like an obnoxious street racer kind of sound. Trying to avoid the expense of a full exhaust replacement, this repair involved cutting the exhaust just behind the second catalytic converter. The work took no more than an hour and the Walker replacement went into place without a hitch, connecting to the old muffler flange. Saved a ton of money.

This pipe fits my 2006 toyota corolla even though Amazon car match software says it does not. Note you will have to saw the old exhaust pipe off about 2 inches in front of the old defective pipe resonator. If you are not sure which parts you need to order check the Walker Exhaust online E-catalog for the correct parts numbers. My problem was a cracked exhaust center pipe at the muffler connection flange. ... show more

This is my second replacement of this part as the vehicle has 235k miles on it. It was not an exact replacement of original. Own part connects to rear muffler assembly via bolts with springs. When connected that way the connection was not sealed. Scurrying to fix it I straight bolted it on resulting in it being 2 inches shorter. Now that 2 inches is giving me alignment problems up front. ... show more
