product: Walker Exhaust 31540 Exhaust Pipe Flange Gasket It's a Walker part - popular because of low cost, but typically for an inexpensive repair with a relatively short life. In this case the part lacks the metal inner wrap of the exhaust port exposed to the exhaust flow leaving the seal and heat resistance to the softer less robust fiber gasket material . The low price comes in part from the simple punch fabrication without the subsequent metal forming step to wrap the metal layer around the inner port lip. Works on initial installation and is quick to obtain from Amazon, but don't expect an OEM lifespan. Works and fits many cars fine, but judge the savings vs the cost of the rest of your repair/installation. ... show more

    • Cheap fix not OEM quality
Ok gasket. You get what you pay for. Got it for my 2008 Nissan rogue. It fits the exhaust bolt holes but too large of a diameter. Old exhaust has a metal ring in the center of the gasket. Says its oem code but isn't OEM quality. But it does the job.

Don't be that person who buys an exhaust gasket off Amazon. Just don't. I was that person in a desperate time and it does you no good. Just don't. Its cheap and causes more DIY time in the near future.

I replaced my exhaust from the resonator pipes back with Wlker exhaust parts,Used these for the connection between the P.S. resonator pipe and the muffler pipe and also the D.S. resonator pipe and the crossover pipe. matched the shape of the factory one. not the same material as the oem one but it sealed the joint. so i like it.

    • Get a new gasket for a new tailpipe.
