  • Sturdier than it looks
This is a very sturdy bed. It looks flimsy in the picture, but I'm telling you, it is really sturdy. We bought two white ones, and at first I was pretty mad. We bought the one that had the photo with the little corner desk, and I thought that came with it. Upon further review, this was my bad. It never ever said it came with it. So that being the only issue, this bed is awesome. We came back later and bought two more (four kids total) and now they have their own computer desks underneath with tons of room to play in the rest of the room. My only 'complaint' is that they don't sell that corner desk separately, because that is exactly what I'm looking for and I can't seem to find that same one anywhere. ASSEMBLY: Assembly isn't bad at all. I can do most of it by myself, but when it comes to the top rails at the very end, I needed help. This is due to the fact that I only have two arms, and it requires four to hold it steady on one side and get the screw started, while keeping the other end from plopping out and making you start over. That was the only difficult thing about it. All four beds came with all pieces, screws, and tools that it was supposed to. PRICE: I know prices change, but assuming it stays about the same, this ended up being a pretty good value. I have Prime shipping so that was free, and I always think things cost too much. But in researching, this was a really sweet price for such a nice bed. ... show more

  • What's not to love about this bed?
We have a somewhat small home. The guest bedroom easily accommodates a queen bed, but we wanted something to go over the top for the grandkids when the family all shows up for Christmas and stay overnight. This worked beautifully! Easy to put together, fast, and very sturdy. We did use the no-tip attachment to be safe. Bought it in white which makes the room look bigger and it blends with the walls. Added a very nice thick 8" memory foam mattress, and a lovely quilt to match the queen bed beneath. Looks wonderful, and it will keep the kiddos with mom and dad for the night, safe and sound overhead. Truly appreciated the high sides as well, so no worries about children falling over the side, even with the thick 8" mattress. It is aesthetically quite beautiful and not obtrusive, and no ladders sticking out taking up precious footage or causing people to stumble. Compact, easy to change the sheets, and really super attractive in so many ways. White is definitely a good choice as well for expanding your smaller rooms! We highly recommend this bed! ... show more

  • So far, so good
I hesitate to write this review as the bed has been assembled for just less than 3 months, but so far so good. Definitely easier to put together than I expected. My wife and I did it in an hour and change. No issues, no fighting ;) Everything was fine. Pieces all there. Everything fit. Instructions and labels made sense. We did not buy the more expensive options and we are NOT complaining. But if you are looking for something super sturdy, this is not it. We do feel safe with our son sleeping in this bed - but we are aware that the materials feel somewhat thin and cheaper and that the bed itself isn't rock solid. Plenty of shakiness. We pay attention, we check and tighten the screws and we remind our son not to get wild and crazy in there ... but it's good to keep in mind that it's a $200 bed and not a $400 bed. We also dislike the ladder and the need to climb over the top of the safety rails, but our son does not mind at all and that is more important. We were limited by space and dimensions. This bed was perfectly sized and there were very few other options. In the end, we are pleased with the purchase and as long as your expectations are properly set, we recommend it. ... show more

  • Awesome!
It’s a great loft bed. The space under is perfect for a dresser or desk and helps maximize your space. It’s a really good frame for the price. Has anchors so you can secure it to the wall for more security especially if you’re using it for children.

  • Worth every penny!
Easy to assemble and a great way to give our little one more room. Gives the perfect amount of space so that she can sleep comfortably, but still have plenty of space to play below. It’s sturdy & adds a cool vibe to her room. Highly recommend! Wish I bought it sooner!

  • WARNING!
WARNING: I started to assemble this bed today and it was not making sense. The parts did not match the image in the directions. I called the manufacturer, the first person I spoke with said maybe they were mislabeled and I should try to switch the parts. Then I found another part that did not match. I called again. The second person I spoke with said, "Oh, sorry. The directions and parts have changed, you received the old directions." REALLY!!! She then emailed me a PDF of the correct directions. They did make sense, but saying that, there is no way anyone could do this in an hour. Also, the slats are a pain to insert and the plastic tabs that hold them in place are very difficult to insert. I put them in boiling water to soften them up. This helped a LOT! It is finally assembled and does seem pretty sturdy. Most bunk beds have an opening. This bed requires you to lift your legs over the bars. Again, don't even begin to assemble unless you are certain you have the correct directions. Good Luck. (P.S. When I called the manufacturer I actually got a live person on the phone with the first ring - amazing!!) ... show more

  • Bed
Easy to put together, very sturdy if put together properly. Also very light even with mattress on top.

  • Worth the price
Metal can be bent if you tighten the bolts too hard. Ladder is uncomfortable to use. Bed is on the wobbly side. There is no entrance when climbing the ladder, you have to sort of hop in. It is worth what I paid for. If you are looking for something more long term with better functionality, I would pick something in a higher price range. Bed looks great, size is a twin. ... show more
