Overall a beautiful TV stand for the price! I love the design, the packaging was great and the instructions were easy to follow. The Cons: - The instructions ask you to install the back panels with the cable slots facing upwards (pic 1). I didn’t think anything of it and completed the build. It wasn’t until I sat back in my couch that I realized how silly it was. If kept as is, all cables from my devices would be ran through the top. After 30 minutes, I took off the top, flipped the panels, and put the top back on. Save yourself the headache and flip these right away. That way, all cables are hidden. - One of the bolts for the legs was missing the threads. Not a deal breaker and it’s still sturdy. However, it was a defect. - Like other reviewers, the doors were a pain in the butt to install level. It took multiple times loosening, readjusting, etc to get them level. Overall, I’d still recommend this table to anyone! Great price, easy to put together, and a joy to look at. Just don’t forget to flip the back panels! ... show more

Shipping box was very heavy, pieces were exceptionally well protected and no missing parts. Box arrived 5 days early. I am not experienced at putting together furniture. I ended putting this together myself and now i feel empowered. I believe I made every mistake possible and it took me hours and hours and hours. Instructions showed 2 different pics of slats fitting into bottom piece but numbered pieces were lined up differently in each pic. Drawings did little to help. When I tried to attach top piece that’s when I realized slats were out of line and had to remove and reattach all 4 slats. (Tip- The back panels must drop into cut out slide spaces in the back of tv stand). After that I was dreading the cabinet doors. Instructions could be more helpful but pushed thru and successfully aligned doors. So for me the building of the piece was a nightmare - I acknowledged with 2 people it would have been easier. I wanted mid century 65” tv stand with storage and this matches perfectly. The back panels were surprising flimsy and the 6 legs are not wood legs so I am concerned about stability. TV in pic is 60”. Overall I like the way it looks. And if I can build this so can you. ... show more

This is such a nice piece of furniture for the price! EVERYONE thinks I bought it at west elm and spent a ton of money on it. It was fairly easy to put together - none of the wood splintered and all the pieces were included. It took my husband and I around 2 hours to fully assemble it. It is currently holding our 55 inch TV, our games in either cabinet, and our play station and switch on the middle shelves. Our playstation always had an issue over-heating in our old TV stand, but with raisers and being put on the open shelves has now solved that. I have bought "cheap" furniture before on amazon and always got what I paid for - this is the exception to that rule I think! ... show more

I was definitely skeptical about ordering this tv stand from Amazon. What made me order it was the brand name, because I know their pieces are usually pretty solid. So, the box did come opened and tore up like a wild animal got to it before it got to me. The good thing is, somehow this item was still intact with no damage to it whatsoever. I’d rate the assembly portion as medium. You need a little patience and elbow grease for this one. The sturdiness is awesome and it’s leveled so there’s no movement once it’s put together. The only thing I don’t like would be adding the darn doors to it. That was one of the last steps and it never comes out well when they do that ☹️ But I’m so glad I bought it! This was a bit of a pain to assemble, especially the door hinges because the screws are very small and the holes are marked but not predrilled. I found it helpful to put the screws in about a quarter of the way without the brackets, remove them, and then attach the brackets so the screws would stay in place. The wood veneer looks nice in person and the whole thing feels very sturdy. I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t hold up for several years. ... show more

Although the outer box was a bit battered, the packing material protected the box contents. Everything was untouched inside the box. All the parts were included, and there was even an additional parts bag, just in case. My assembly was probably slowed down because my 6 year old grandson and 4 year old granddaughter were helping me with the assembly. I did use my power drill with a Philips screwdriver bit despite the instructions saying not to. I found it useful for the hinge screws. Everything else was fine with a screwdriver. The instruction illustrations were great, with descriptions in 4 languages (English, Spanish, French, and German). All the parts were well labeled and there were illustrations of all the parts in the beginning of the instructions. The resulting product seems sturdy enough. I may need to drill another hole in the back for wires from the lower shelf, but the back material is very thin, so that should be easy enough. ... show more
