The reviews for this table are not the best, but the table is. If you've never assembled furniture before, this might be a challenge. So, for the neophytes: Assemble it on the box top. It will fit. Get a folding chair or something that's easy to move. Find the little white box with the screws - you'll have to get the whole table out of the box to see them. Each bag has exactly what you need for each assembly operation. There are instructions in the box that are worth going over. First you need to put the table top together using the two boards that tie the two halves together. Next you'll put on the four legs. All screws will go in easily. If they don't, don't force them. Take enough apart so that you can screw them in without assembling anything, just to prove to yourself that they work. When it's all together. if you have anyone to help, tip it over on its feet. If not, you can do it yourself - I did. Just make sure that you don't get trapped under it, and that you have plenty of room. I turned mine up in my kitchen right from the box top where I assembled it. It was very handy to have an electric screw driver. Made things go much faster. I'm old, so I went slow, and it took me 1 hr. 18 min. to open the box, get everything out, and put together, and then to turn the table over. I had to have the correct Allen wrench bit, but thankfully I already had it. Be sure to hand tighten everything once your done - hopefully before you turn the table over. I couldn't get chairs from Amazon for this table, but Bed, Bath, and Beyond have some that fold up and look nice for a decent price.

Table is simple in design, was packaged well from its factory in Malaysia, drop shipped at a good price (it fluctuates by hundreds of $s). Not much reinforcement, wood is of middling quality, I wouldn’t put much weight on it. It looks great. I did two treatments of Teak Oil after a light sanding. This will protect it, and with a yearly treatment, it should last 5-10 years. All of this in mind, it’s a great value. I set it up with an impact wrench on a low torque setting, then checked all bolts with a hand tightening. Took about 14 minutes to set up. Very easy, then again, I’m an engineer and do lots of mechanical work as a hobby. Probably would take ~30mins by hand. Table is light enough for me to move on my own, but not if I asked my mother or wife to.

Nice table for the price. It was easy to assemble but the middle dips a bit on ours. Just need to stabilize where the two table top sections connect. Overall happy with this purchase.

The table came cracked, scratched and damaged in several areas. We had to glue broken pieces together. It looks nice from far away but up close the quality is cheap.

I was looking for a table that wasn’t huge in size but also affordable because a lot of tables out there were a bit expensive for me. So glad I took a chance & ordered this one. Assembly was okay, some of the bolts wouldn’t go all way in & one didn’t go in at all but it all worked out. Would definitely recommend regardless. I’m going to order the matching bench to go on the other side.

First off, furniture looks great. The leaf folds away nicely and wood is very nice. But...putting it together was slightly painful. Instructions are fine but a lot of holes don’t line up. I had to redrill quite a few. Do yourself a favor and when you put the legs on the table top (one of the last steps), loosen the top mounts a bit. It might help. And the little patches that hold the sections together, yea those holes are awful. Have fun!
