  • Incredibly useful pipe--MAGIC!
Simple. Bendable and can stretch--however sturdy and solid. I got a new catback exhaust--however at the shop they said it wouldn't fit. I tried myself but I could not get the mufflers in properly. I thought I'd resort to this option, GREAT MOVE. I bought 2 of them, both came in a box and came with a clamp and hardware. Great quality all around. I was able to connect both to the Y-pipe, and they stretched to the duel conversion pipes and worked like magic. I had to pull and bend to fit them after I wrenched them tight--didn't budge. They fit perfectly (2.5 in.). Worked wonders and I was able to complete my project with ease and at a very fair price. I referred a buddy to use them. Would buy again, 5/5. ... show more

  • And how?
Worked great for me. I put this on my wives '15 GMC Acadia SLT. I usually use real pipe when replacing the exhaust but there was a real time crunch and this worked out great. Buyer beware, when taking your cut length, add an extra inch. I cut mine and while trying to wiggle the second end on, I realized it compacted from my pushing and I had to really pull it taught to feel confident the U-bolts wouldn't be tempted to wiggle free after awhile. I used to work on utility trucks and should've known better, but it was face palmer of a reminder. It's been 2 months though and still works great. ... show more

  • Nice flex tube
Bought this to put temporary exhaust on a f100 project to be neighbor considerant. Came in as described. I see some negative stuff about end quality, but honestly that is the nature of the beast. It's like the spiral swivel electrical mc cable, no real good way to cut clean, but did better than I could do, lol. Some small prep with a ball peen on flat surface to address a couple of minor areas to be expected, and easy peasy good to go. Love the flex range to get over cross member. Would definitely buy again! ... show more

  • Sharp and short
I purchased this product after the catalytic converter was stolen off of my truck. Some things you should know. Very sharp burrs - I believe these were cut with a bandsaw with a feed rate set too high. This coupled with the fact that it is relatively thin material, resulted in very sharp burrs around the cut edges so beware. Also they were not cut straight. Length significantly shorter than advertised - I purchased two 18" pieces. One measured in at ~17 1/4". The other at ~16 15/16". Over an inch under. Now I will have to figure a way to bridge the large gap that I did not account for because I did not expect to receive them so much shorter. A minor inconvenience for me, a little variance is expected but an inch short is completely unacceptable. Did they just eyeball it? One clamp - Each tube only came with one clamp which is a bit odd since it has two ends? Also beware of metal dust, there was a lot in my box. Aside from those issues the material itself seems quite sturdy and it should do the job just fine once I bridge the gap. And at a reasonable price. All in all a good product if you are expecting yours to be an inch short. ... show more

  • Works Great
I bought this for my 2012 dodge charger, it was a really tight fit but fit perfectly over exhaust, its allot more sturdy then i was expecting and offers just enough flex to make this slight turn in my exhaust, only thing i dont understand is why it only comes with one clamp, i had to buy another clamp which was cheap enough. ... show more

  • What the hell
How is this supposed to slip over a 2.5 inch pipe, waste of money plus the cuts are obviously done to fast and very little is paid attention to length because it was an 1 3/8s short

  • Worked as I had hoped.
I removed the old exhaust on a 1999 Dakota and put in a glasspack. Using this flex pipe I was able to connect the end of the glasspack back to what was left of the original exhaust pipe that goes over the rear axle. I needed something that would bend into an S-curve to make up the height difference. As you can see it worked fine and was easy enough to bend. Pay no mind to the tin can between the pipe and glasspack, it's not part of this pipe. The flex pipe ended up being a couple inches short with the bends so I used a tin can to bridge the gap - temporary (no, really!) till I get all new exhaust some day. I know it's not fancy, but it works which is all that matters to me. ... show more
