I really do understand the -ve comments for this product. The size is deceiving and it may look wobbly. I put is on sheet rock and not the studs. So let's see how far this goes. Please make sure of the size you want and don't get carried away by the images. I did not have a missing part and the mounts and screws were of good quality. My needs were simple though and I totally loved it for my needs. I needed to find a wall stand for my 2 laptops which then was going thru a KVM switch to my monitor. Really light-weight requirement. My guess is I am going to be touching anything on the stand maybe twice a week, therefore not too much of aggressive handling. Now the installation was easy and straight-forward. If you've ever put a screw in the wall then you could put this on. Even if your base support was not perfectly straight (and mine wasn't) there is a margin of error that the shelf can handle. You can sway the shelf itself by a couple of degrees to make it straight even if the wall mount/support itself was of by a couple of degrees. The shelf itself has a glass-like very impressive appearance. Putting the shelf on was easier. And to be able to hide the wires behind that soft metal mesh within the support was icing on the cake. You cannot make all the wires hide, but you can definitely make it look a little bit organized. The whole thing took about 4 screws to the wall, 6 screws to mount the shelf holder to the support and 3 more screws to attach the shelf to the shelf holder. I was done in about 30 mins. Stury, easy to hang. However I wouldn't follow the directions next time. Put the shelves on AFTER you are finished top to bottom, too hard to assemble shelves then hang them.

Arrived quickly and looks great. Took about 40 minutes to install, I had to keep getting all my tools in office from shop. If I bought another it would probably take 10 minutes, just take it nice and easy. No problems, everything was in box. Thanks

Easy to put together and install. Supports a projector and is perfect for it. Will support other components as well. I have used a 3-shelf version of this for my stereo equipment and was the best setup I did. Will look into getting more when needed.

It is easy to install, it looks good, and it handles the job intended well enough. The price is fair, but the shelf is pretty wobbly, I only have an 8 lbs. electronic device sitting on it, but I get the impression that the shelf is unstable. The problem with stability appears to be the fact that the rear edge of the glass shelf does not butt against the wall, so every time you load something into your VCR or DVD player or whatever, it jiggles quite a bit, side to side, as well as up and down. If you plan to put more than 8 lbs. on it, I'd recommend spending the extra money for something that can hold more weight. ... show more

I didn't purchase this product for its real intended usage - a A/V rack. Instead, I used it for some shelves to replace a table in my media room. I use it to store my headset and charger stand, my Xbox Controller stand, remotes for the tv and lights and some star wars figures on top. Honestly, it's a little short for 3 shelves, and it barely did what I needed. But, the wall mount comes in 2 pieces and I think you could space them out (not connected) to provide additional hieght for the 3rd shelf. I didn't realize this until I was practically done. You definitely want to have balanced items on the shelves as they do become slightly eschew at times. Probably more a result of my use vs its intended use. No way these would hold a large A/V receiver or anything. A DVD player, yes. XBOX or Playstation probably. They look nice. I would recommend after carefully considering your use case. They will not work for all use cases. ... show more
