I have a very large stand up version of this made by Craftsman but I never use it anymore. I like to sit down and use this! It's exactly the width of a brick which doesn't sound important, but I line a lot of my beds with bricks that lay down. How convenient is that! It literally pulls up a strip of soil and sod all of the same time. It can cut over 2inches deep! * I leveled my chicken coop with this yesterday and even used it to hoist up the weight of the entire coop momentarily, while I could put a prop under it! I remember my mother having a large hoe like this, which she liked very much, so I took a chance and ordered this smaller one. It does fine in places where I am trying to remove overgrown weeds, but where it shines is when it's time to go back over a place already cleared to remove newly grown tiny weeds. Wow! I saw this on the internet and decided to purchases for my garden/yard. When I first took it out the box, I didn’t think it was going to work. But looks are deceiving. This little tool is a monster. Very pleased with product. I have one from 30 years ago. It was called a squiggle hoe back then full size. The head is suppose to rotate front to back. Another reviewer called it crap. The shorter handle works great for me to get on my knees and be very accurate

I have or had creeping weeds all over the garden. This product really gets under the shallow root and pulls them all out. What would have taken me about 40 minutes, took me only 15. Wish the handle was a little longer, but I don't need a full handle. Good for using it with a kneeing pad rather than bending over. Especially for larger gardens. ... show more
