Wow this rug feels so good under my bare feet I just want to stand on it and scrunch my toes in its softness. The pile is thick and soft and it is washable in my machine. It doesn't have that "old school" rubber backing on it so you won't find bits and pieces in the washer after but it does have a non-slip backing that works pretty well. The color is darker than it looks in the listing and even in the picture I took for this review - I actually like the super dark purple so much better that I'm going to buy a whole set. Color "Light Tan" which worked perfectly as a driftwood gray. It would also work as tan.. It is a very "griege" color. (and looks better than my towels at this point.. now new towels). Glad I took a risk on this color as it really works. It is also SUPER soft but not slippery soft.

I really like the color of the rug but I was sent the wrong size. I order a 6 foot long rug. I got a 5 foot long rug. Due to my allergies, I have to was new items once or twice before using them. Since I'll be standing barefoot on this rug, it had to be washed first. After washing, I saw lots of loosened fibers clinging to the sides of the washer. It was like when you make Cotton Candy, the sides all full with loosened fibers. I just hope that will be the worst of it. I hope it is done shedding. ... show more

The color of this product is not similar. The color of this product looked almost black to me. But other then that- this product is a decent value for the money, made of great quality, washable, durable, soft & cozy-like. I recommend this product (just not this specific color-purple).
