I finally decided on this brand even though multiple readers say they shed terribly. I’ve seen a small amount of shedding, but nothing out of the ordinary for a new plush mat. My bad-- at least I think so. I'm spatially very talented but this rug was itty bitty. I didn't use it so I can't give a very fair rating for that. I actually just donated it to a thrift store. Someone with a small bathroom might like it It came rolled up (there weren't any fold lines to work out), the color was true. It did have a slight odor of plastic & chemicals. This bathroom rug is the perfect length to fit in front of our shower . It's absorbent and soft . The rubber backing keeps the floor dry . The color matches my smaller ones in front of the sinks almost perfectly even though it's a different brand . I've washed it and hung up to dry and it looks like new ! I rec'd the bathroom rug Walensee Large Bathroom Rug (24 x 60, Lavender) today. Wow, it is so plush and beautiful!! My Chihuahua actually walked on it, found how plush it is, and then layed down and would Not move for 1/2 hour!! She liked it so much, I ordered the small one for her bed in her kennel!! I have a bathroom with Taupe Tile, so I am limited to what color rugs look good. Only purple, taupe or lavender look good. so, I usually buy from Bed,Bath&Beyond, but they are going out of business and didn't have any more of the one I had bought a few months ago. so, I looked at Amazon. The one I have now is still great, but I wanted another set. so, this is really nice. The backing is heavy, so I had to spin the washer 3 times to get all the water out. but it dried really nice in the dryer and there was only a little bit of fuzz in the lint trap. so, this was a nice buy. the rug itself is really soft and plush too. so, I would buy again,. These are way more soft than they look, and they look pretty soft! They are so fluffy and dense, they absorb water really well, feel great on your feet, and don't fall apart when you wash them! They also take a long while to get stinky from the water. The only drawback is the color - they do get dirty/grey looking pretty quickly, but that could be because I have a kid with dirty feet stomping all over them day after day. But even then, I just pop them in the wash and they come out pink and fluffy! Would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

Used for bath. Not soft at all and not as absorbent as the previous one. Not enough yarn or material in the rug. I find strains of yarn from the rug on the floor almost every day.

and absorbent, also reasonable. The only thing I don't care for is the texture. It's not awful, just not what I expected. It looks a little like it's made of finely shredded cloth as opposed to the "fuzziness" of many bathroom rugs. Not a problem but I have had to get used to it.
