This is my first set ever, I'm still new to the game but these paddles seem well made, the grip on them is pretty comfortable and they are not heavy. The balls are like your regular wiffle balls and don't feel cheap. Comes with a carry bag and it all fits inside nice and snug. Practice makes perfect I always say, would definitely recommend

It seems like pickleball is becoming the new popular thing. So my wife and I wanted to pick up a pair of paddles just for playing around between the two of us or when our friends went out they could join them. This was a nice starter set, and it came with two paddles, four balls, and it came with a carrying case. I usually like to have cases for everything just so I keep everything together, and I'm not scrambling to find where I put this or where I put that every time we want to go out. It is a great value, especially for someone getting started in pickleball. It is graphite carbon. I did some research on the different types of materials for paddles and when we were playing with them. I've played with other paddles before that; Probably fiberglass or something, and it felt like I had to put a lot more effort into hitting the ball over than that. These ones did not feel like I needed to whack the ball as hard but I still did need to put some effort into it. The build quality, it’s really hard to say. I don't have that much judgment with the build quality or experience with something that's, but they feel good. They feel solid. Nothing is peeling yes, chipped, or broken yet. Overall, I would definitely pick this up again. We probably will pick up another set sometime soon because when we go out with others, we prefer them to have their own set of paddles, but if they don't, we always like being able to let them borrow a pair, and so we can still go out and play with them.

I'm new to Pickleball so not sure how this will stand the test of time yet. I like the "kit" idea with the zipper bag and the different balls for indoor and outdoor. My main concern is the wrapping on the paddles. Like I said, I'm new to pickleball but I have played racket ball for a number of years and the wrapping on the handles of the pickleball paddles seems a little cheap compared to what I am used to. Nice set, but not sure it is $70.00 nice.

With pickleball being the craze in my neighborhood, I have dabbled in it by borrowing equipment from my friends. Now hooked myself, it was time for my own set so I acquired the Wakefa Set. The carbon fiber racquet is very light in weight, even lighter than some of the equipment that I had borrowed. The cushion grip is extremely comfortable. I was a little apprehensive about the seams being intrusive, but they were not any manner. In fact, the seams actually helped with gripping in a light drizzle, not to mention the above-normal perspiration from my hand as I play in the SWFL heat and humidity. The photos serve justly, but in the “Other Details” description, it reads, “High Quality Pickleball Balls – The pickleball set includes 8 pickle balls…” The set does come with only four as shown in the photos. In the weeks that I have used the outdoor balls, so far there have been no cracks or breakages. Not playing indoors, I cannot comment on the integrity of those balls. The carrying case makes it convenient to transport the equipment. Everything fits nicely without having to try and jam each piece back into the bag. Again, being new to the sport, I did not want to purchase equipment costing hundreds of dollars that an “avid” player might be willing to shell out. I only hope that as time passes and my skill level increase, that this Wakefa Professional Pickleball Paddles Set holds to “professional” quality as it states. But so far, this beginner is pleased!
