  • Good pads but dusty
Style: TQ - Ceramic Size: QC465A
Got these pads as a replacement to some I ordered from Amazon that didn't fit even though the vehicle selector said it would. These fit very tight on install and I was worried about that causing an issue possibly. But it's been about 1500 miles so far without issues. They are quite and have decent bite during braking for ceramic pads but they are still really dusty. Not a huge deal but they will definitely turn your rims a different color from the dust fairly quickly. ... show more

  • Makes noise after 1 week
Style: TQ - Ceramic Size: QC465A
I had standard Wagner front pads on my Honda civic and got about 25,000 before replacement. I decided to spent a few bucks more and replace them with Wagner Thermo-Quiet pads. After only 1 week of combined local and highway driving I now hear the pads "moaning" when rolling slowly. I will replace the older rotors and hope that is the only reason for the noise. ... show more

  • All fine except
Style: QS - Ceramic Size: ZD465A
The hardware clips are not the exact fit for a 2010 Civic... pads simply will not snap in place. Ended using old clips. I am not the first one to raise this issue. So if you need new clips - beware.

  • Works for 2006 Honda Civic LX
Style: TQ - Ceramic Size: QC465A
Just got done changing my front brakes on 2006 Honda Civic LX. Looked up a couple youtube videos and took me about 3 hours but thats only because I've never done ANY car work before. Once I got the first brake changed the second front tire brakes only took me about 20-30 minutes when i knew what i was doing. Easy way to save some money and so far works great!! A couple of tips: - The tire iron included in the trunk of the civic sucks. Gives you no leverage/torque. Luckily my friend had a longer one to get lugnuts loose. - Once lugnuts are off your tire is likely going to be stuck to the rotor because steel and aluminum tend to stick together. Simply use a big hammer or sledghammer and hit the tire ON THE TIRE from inside the tire a couple of times and it will pop loose. Do not hit the rim or else you might damage it. - get some brake cleaner for the rotor and some brake grease. Note that you put the brake grease on the thin metal pads that attach to the back of your new brake pads. They'll be attached to the old ones so simply remove them from old ones and look at where the fricton occurs. Typically the inside brake pad has a circle in the middle (so make the same circle using the brake grease) and the outer brake pad has two marks on the ends so use the grease on the outer edge. At first I thought you put the grease on the actual pad itself but that is NOT correct. I'm an idiot haha. It keeps the car from squeeling when you press your brakes cause the piston presses against the thin metal behind your brake pads and with some grease it will still apply pressure but be able to slide without squealing. Again...look up youtube videos. Very helpful. Good luck! ... show more

  • Made in USA
Style: TQ - Ceramic Size: QC465A
I chose Wagner specifically because I wanted a product manufactured in the USA, and these were labeled as such. I easily installed these on my 2007 Civic LX (front disc) with no problems. Mounting hardware was included in the box, and the brakes appear to be working perfectly: It's only been about a week, but no sounds -- in fact, better than when I originally got the car (the OE brakes were noisy from day one, but the Wagners are quiet). Highly recommend. I had intended to replace the rear shoes (drum), but those turned out to be made in China (#913) and the linings were thinner than the ones on the vehicle (after almost 40k miles)! Incidentally, I ordered front and rear Wagners for my wife's RAV4, and both of those sets were Made in USA. I know Wagner has some made in Mexico, but it seems that most are USA made, so I am pretty happy with that. 2015-10-07 Update: These have just worn out. Rotors still looking good. I managed about 46k miles, and they lasted just under 3-1/2 years. I just ordered a new pair, so I will let you know if they are still made in USA. 2015-10-13 Update: I ended up checking three suppliers to determine manufacturing, and 2 of 3 were USA made, the third was made in Mexico. So, the bad news is you may have trouble finding ones made in USA, but the good news is, if you don't, at least they most likely won't be from China. Visually, those made in USA and those made in Mexico look identical. Put the new ones on without trouble; the only thing of note is that with the last set I had no warning that they were low because the wear indicator had broken off sometime over the last 3-1/2 years, so didn't warn me. Fortunately, my spider sense tingled before the rotor got thrashed and saved me having to buy rotors too. Good luck! ... show more
