Let's be honest. If you own the Wacom Cintiq Pro 32, you will need this. I debated with myself for a few weeks before buying this ergo stand. Mainly due to it's price. But after working on a couple of projects without the stand, they ended up not feeling right because of the real estate of the 32 inch monitor. For example, working in Photoshop. Without the stand, when you reach for the menu's like the brush menu you have to really reach over the monitor to get to it. I don't care if you are 6'2 and up with long arms. Its not natural. And the angle of the monitor with no stand while drawing is not an accurate way to look at your artwork. The perspective feels off. I really want to say all of this is an exaggeration, but its not. If you don't want an ergo stand due to price and you are making up excuses not to buy solely for that reason, you won't enjoy your expensive Wacom. The device is just too big not get a stand. You will work more efficiently with one. Lastly, when/if you buy this its NOT LIGHT!!! Oh my goodness. I lift heavy weights in the gym but this thing is ridiculous. And I say that because of what its supposed to be. Its just a desk stand for a HUGE monitor. But the weight is crazy so that throws a lot of people off upon receiving it. Look...just get it and use it. Don't buy it, complain about the weight, and make up excuses why its not for you. Hopefully you are doing artwork to earn money that will in essence pay for the device.     • heavy duty and works great
while i agree with others that a free more adjustment positions would be nice it's not a deal breaker. i get the 2 mail positions i personally use and prefer this over an arm or without anything. the arms are too unstable for me.

Very solid, positioning options are decent. The design in the rear to hide the chords is great. I had to get a different desk top because of the crushing weight of this stand along with the attached 32" Cintiq. The four star over five is just because it's a bit pricey for a base stand.

    • Not a useful stand
I have spent 4 months with this thing and sucks! Why? its useful as a stand to display the cintiq, but dont try to move it to drawing position. First you have to release the lever in the back then squeeze the paddles on either side to move it. But, its 28 lbs of weight that has to be moved at once. Not weightless. Its not functional like the arm monitor of the Studio Surface pro. That is the closest thing to this. That is simple to move into the drawing position. This is not. That takes a few fingers to move around. The cintiq, although superior in quality, the stand takes some muscle and coordination at the same time. Not something you want to think about when drawing or editing. Its not like you can quickly reposition the stand "on the Fly". not worth the price of it...I will either try the ergo arm, even though it shakes, because its easier and quicker to move.. Thats another issue. When moving the monitor from viewing to drawing mode, you want a quick repositioning of it in 3-5 seconds. This stand takes a good minute to get things right. And if your doing that 10-15 times during editing, something is wrong. And its not my editing. ... show more
