VViViD Vinyls’ revolutionary Ultra Gloss films lend your car an almost mirror- like Gloss finish that, until now, has only been attainable by having your vehicles panels stripped and re-painted at great expense. For a fraction of the time and cost, Ultra Gloss will make your vehicle look like it just rolled off the assembly line! In our constant efforts to refine our films, VViViD’s engineers have created new technologies specifically for the Ultra Gloss range. These include our Stretchable Protective Cap, which you can leave on the film until installation is fully complete, thereby protecting your vinyl from scratches and abrasions throughout the process. In addition, VViViD’s Ultra Gloss Nano air-release pattern ensures the most refined gloss finish available with today’s vinyl wrapping technology. Conventional vinyl wraps can look good when properly installed, but if you want to turn heads, VViViD’s Ultra Gloss line takes it to the next level. Installation tips: 1. Due to the dramatic increase in finish clarity, any imperfections in the surface to which Ultra Gloss is being applied will show through exponentially. Therefor it is recommended to take extra care to thoroughly clean and prepare the surfaces beforehand. Although not necessary for the integrity of the wrap, using clay bars would be a great precaution for added surface clarity. 2. The nano Air- release is there to enhance the finish of the product, however it may be harder to remove trapped air on large surfaces. Therefore, it is best to apply the film gradually, whilst holding excess material off the surface. 3. Please note that the cap reduces the pliability of the film by about 15%. For precision cutting, seams and joints, make sure you remove the cap in those areas. 4. Please take care to properly align the film when applying to the surface, in order to minimize the need for repeated repositioning the film, which sometimes results in glue lines.

I used the VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Piano Black vinyl to eliminate the chrome trim on my 2019 BMW 330i, and the transformation exceeded expectations. The gloss level is nearly identical to the factory door pillar finish, creating a seamless, unified look that feels OEM. It completely changed the car’s profile—stealthier, sportier, and way more purposeful. Installation was refreshingly doable, even if you're new to wrap work. The film handled curves and corners with grace, and the air-release channels minimized bubbles and frustration. It held tack well while still allowing repositioning, which gave me confidence to get clean lines without panic. Add a heat gun and a little patience, and you'll walk away feeling like a pro. Durability has been great so far—weather exposure hasn’t affected adhesion or finish, and the protective layer helped avoid swirl marks during install. I’m pairing the blackout base with Smurf Blue accents on the rocker panels, lower air intakes, and possibly a bold stripe down the hood. The contrast is going to pop, and this wrap laid the perfect foundation. Well packaged and protected. Product size was actually about one foot larger than I ordered, I ordered 3ft x 5ft and received 4ft x 5ft, so it was nice having a little extra material. I've ordered a different wrap from a different seller in the past and size was about 2-3" inches shorter than advertised. Wrapping a car hood in vinyl is not easy, even though professionals on YouTube make it look easy. This was my 3rd try in wrapping my car hood and it came out fairly well. I had always chosen name brand vinyl thinking that was the best (3M, Avery, etc). Couldn't get the deep black I needed from those folks so decided to try this brand since they had the color. FIRST time ever tinting and it took me about 4hrs for six sections, I will say they are advertised as not needing to be wet but… after hour 2 of trying to get the tint to maneuver over the curves in the lights I said forget it and put soapy water and used a squeegee then I worked over any bubbles by bringing it up and applying the heat gun to stretch it, so kinda went for a combo of both techniques but came out really good overall I’m very happy with how it is ... show more

This wrap looks so nice and I’m extremely happy with this purchase!! I’ve never wrapped anything before so it was a bit tricky for me since I didnt even know how to properly start! But besides that this will come in handy! I got this to help prevent any further scratches on the plastic black gloss on my car! Value for money! The adhesive is a bit iffy BUT if you have a heat gun you will have a better time getting it to be more sticky! The texture is nice and the look is very glossy! Peeling was great! It didn’t peel off too easily but it isn’t hard at all to get off at all ... show more

Update - weeks later and big bubbles showed up out of nowhere. This is on a roof trim panel which is flat but exposed to the sun. This doesn't happen with any decent quality wrap! May be good for interior parts, crafts or areas not exposed to the sun but other than that it is useless. Pros - Adhesion is very good Color, gloss and smoothness(lack of peel) is good Cons - Very easily scratched Bubbles are a nightmare, frequent and show up later which leads me to believe the air release is very very poor I am not new to vinyl installs and have done many flawless jobs but this material is on the middle to bottom of the barrel. I have used this brand before with no real complaints and have never encountered the headaches I had with this one. The other products I have done some complex shapes with minimal to no bubbles but this one I used on the trim panel for the sunroof of a mercedes which is flat and had nothing but issues. What should have been a 5-10 minute job turned into an hour. And to top it off scratches show up with just your finger. I know the smooth finish and lack of texture makes it easier to scratch but this is ridiculous. Going to look for another product and redo. ... show more

First time installing wrap but this product had no glide and no stretch causing 3 or 4 creases and at the very end a small rip trying to wrap a corner. The gloss is nice and looks like paint. I would not buy this wrap for another project and would look into higher quality products but overall it looks good and you get what you pay for. ... show more
