I used the VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Piano Black vinyl to eliminate the chrome trim on my 2019 BMW 330i, and the transformation exceeded expectations. The gloss level is nearly identical to the factory door pillar finish, creating a seamless, unified look that feels OEM. It completely changed the car’s profile—stealthier, sportier, and way more purposeful. Installation was refreshingly doable, even if you're new to wrap work. The film handled curves and corners with grace, and the air-release channels minimized bubbles and frustration. It held tack well while still allowing repositioning, which gave me confidence to get clean lines without panic. Add a heat gun and a little patience, and you'll walk away feeling like a pro. Other folk have been way too critial of this vinyl. It is AMAZING. I'm so relieved I found something affordable to fix my car. My car is my pride and joy, but unfortunately it began oxidizing and its in desperate need of a repaint. But who's got an extra 3k to spare? Not me LMAO. So I bought this product and although it's meticulous work to cut out pieces. It's given me so much peace of mind. It also perfectly matches my car paint! Seriously if you do it right it will look seemless! Idk about how itll do in a car wash. I will admit, it can get tiny scratches if u use a credit card to smooth it out. I ended up using my tshirt to smooth it out. No issues with adhesion either. This thing got stronggg adhesion. It aint go'n nowhere lol. Maybe i can come back and update my review later but fr no complaints. P.s. I also used the vinyl to fill in the missing black parts on my metal transformers emblems. Works perfectly!!

FIRST time ever tinting and it took me about 4hrs for six sections, I will say they are advertised as not needing to be wet but… after hour 2 of trying to get the tint to maneuver over the curves in the lights I said forget it and put soapy water and used a squeegee then I worked over any bubbles by bringing it up and applying the heat gun to stretch it, so kinda went for a combo of both techniques but came out really good overall I’m very happy with how it is

Very deep gloss black. If done right it will look as good as any paint job. This stuff is very thick and a bit stiff until you put some heat on it. I think it would be hard to use this on smaller pieces but i do like how it will hold its shape after you heat it and stretch it. Sticks decently to primer or bondo as long as it's sanded very smooth and clean. My only real complaint is they roll it up really tight to ship it and if it stays rolled that tight it will want to crease when you try to flatten it out until you heat it back to its original shape.

Update - weeks later and big bubbles showed up out of nowhere. This is on a roof trim panel which is flat but exposed to the sun. This doesn't happen with any decent quality wrap! May be good for interior parts, crafts or areas not exposed to the sun but other than that it is useless. Pros - Adhesion is very good Color, gloss and smoothness(lack of peel) is good Cons - Very easily scratched Bubbles are a nightmare, frequent and show up later which leads me to believe the air release is very very poor I am not new to vinyl installs and have done many flawless jobs but this material is on the middle to bottom of the barrel. I have used this brand before with no real complaints and have never encountered the headaches I had with this one. The other products I have done some complex shapes with minimal to no bubbles but this one I used on the trim panel for the sunroof of a mercedes which is flat and had nothing but issues. What should have been a 5-10 minute job turned into an hour. And to top it off scratches show up with just your finger. I know the smooth finish and lack of texture makes it easier to scratch but this is ridiculous. Going to look for another product and redo.

I was given a quoter from my local Vinyl Wrap shop of $192.62 to wrap a flat window on the side of my truck Topper. The space is 60" x 12'. After watching an instructional video, I took on the task, and completed the job in 1 hour. Total expense of Vinyl and tools is $28. It turned out really well. The vinyl was easy to apply. I applied it with a Dry Application. Next time, I will try a wet application.

Will not stick to jelcoat. I wrapped a bass boat in 3 different colors, white, purple and black. The black and purple were a different brand and they stuck great. The white just won't stick but it's a nice looking product but just don't like boats
