  • Most Realistic Paint-Replacement: VViViD Vinyls presents the newest evolution in vinyl wrap technology. Our Ultra Gloss range is the result of years of research and development, culminating in an almost mirror-like Gloss that is virtually indistinguishable from a factory paint job
  • Premium Features: To achieve the Ultra Gloss look, VViViD re-designed every aspect of car-wrap vinyl from the ground up. The result is a range of films packed with new technologies to create a stunningly beautiful finish. Conventional vinyl wraps can look good, but Ultra Gloss takes it to the next level
  • Nano Air-Release Technology: Air-release channels built into vinyl adhesive can sometimes create irregularities in the surface, making for a less glossy finish. VViViDs Ultra Gloss films are the only vinyls that utilize a micro air-release pattern so finely engineered that the result is an almost glass-like finish
  • Stretchable Protective Cap: Unlike other vinyls, VViViDs Ultra Gloss comes with a protective film that stretches with the vinyl, so you dont have to remove that protective layer until the installation is complete, reducing the risk of scratches and scuffs

Description

Years of dedicated research and development have culminated in our Ultra Gloss range, offering a nearly mirror-like gloss that rivals factory paint jobs. Every aspect of car-wrap has been meticulously redesigned to achieve this finish. VViViD’s Ultra Gloss comes with a protective film that stretches with the vinyl, reducing the risk of scratches and scuffs. VViViD's Ultra Gloss films utilize a micro air-release pattern which results in its glass-like finish. Correct mistakes like creases and wrinkles with some heat and start fresh! VViViD’s self healing technology is a key feature to the wrapping process. VViViD Ultra-Gloss is the closest alternative to getting your car repainted. ‎ With cutting-edge technologies, the Ultra Gloss series elevates the appearance of your car to a stunning new level. While conventional wraps can look good, Ultra Gloss takes it a step further. Like other VViViD wraps, this series is DIY-friendly and easily applicable in the comfort of your home. Does this vinyl wrap require a heat gun for installation? Yes, you will need a heat gun as the vinyl's adhesive is heat activated. Heat softens the vinyl which makes it more pliable and stretchable, making it a lot either install. Post heating also contributes to the long term durability of the vinyl wrap. Does this vinyl wrap come with a protective cap? Yes, all Ultra Gloss rolls come with a stretchable protective cap. Which can be installed without removing throughout the entire wrap process. For precision cuts, seams and joints, make sure to remove the cap in those areas. Can I wrap my car at home? Yes you can. You will need a dust/particle free space to properly install your vinyl wrap. You will need the proper cleaning material to prep your car before the wrap and the essential tools (heat gun, knife, etc) for the install process. A huge variety of Ultra Gloss colors. Explore a diverse array of options in our Ultra Gloss collection! Over the years, we've harnessed the power of Ultra Gloss technologies to create a range of colors. Amazing Wrap!
Size: 1ft x 5ft
The VViViD+ Ultra Gloss Neptune Pearl Blue wrap delivers a stunning, deep blue shine that looks absolutely premium once applied. The finish has a slick, glass‑like gloss that shifts beautifully in the light, giving your project a custom, high‑end look. The material is thick, forgiving, and easy to work with — it stretches well, lays smooth, and resists bubbles better than most DIY wraps. If you want a color that pops and a vinyl that feels professional without the professional price, this Neptune Pearl Blue is a standout choice. ... show more

1st wrap
Size: 25ft x 5ft
Review Image by Kurt Blitzer
I like it it’s very durable during install. It has a paint like finish, metallic and pearl comes through great. It has a very strong stick, I used vivid tac spray on places that needed lots of repositioning and spots that the paint was weak or repainted. I needed 1 50 ft roll plus some of a 25ft roll to complete a RSX; and that is with a carbon fiber hood and buying a new wing and mirrors instead of wrapping them. Prep most important, do the alcohol clay bar and tac remover spray in the little bottle that removes stuff in 60 seconds rapid tac is a must. Buy some cheap squeegee’s tools and any heat gun, learn knife less tape watch YouTube instagram and it should cost around a 1000 to do yourself If I did it over again I would go for a Matt finish but only after learning on gloss it’s much more forgiving and stretchable better for first time ... show more

I am highly impressed with this wrap . I am still a beginner , however I’ve used this wrap before and my previous experience wasn’t the best . The premium series seems to be of better quality and much more forgiving than the previous wrap I purchased from vivid . This one however has been abused during my install on a bumper panel. Probably shouldn’t have started with the hardest part of the truck in my opinion but decisions were made . I creased the h e double hockey sticks outta of it and you can’t even tell . Whenever it is heated up it does what it’s supposed to do. Will purchase again for another project. Color used was Neptune pearl . It does appear darker unless it’s in the sun . Almost looks purple until you take it outside . ... show more

Difficult to work with even with their branded heat gun.

Color looks good but this stuff is a nightmare to work with compared to 3m. Super stiff and difficult to work around corners with. Constant use of a heat gun to make the material maliable caused a few scrapped cuts. It does look really nice though and i have gotten many compliments.

Bought it for a budget option vs paint. I got my vinyl and started my project and found issues with the vinyl. Called vvivid and with a couple of pictures and a few emails they sent replacement material. Looks good and love how it makes my vehicle pop.

This film is a waste of time and money!

This film is not worth your money. It did not last a year before the clear and color portions of the film started to fail. It was on a car that is stored outside in the Florida sun so I did not expect it to last forever but I thought it would last a couple of years before it would start fading or showing some degradation. Vvivid even reduces their warranty from 4 years to 2 years for being Florida so I expected it to at least last that long. I contacted VVivid since was still under warranty, but that was just a waste of time. They kept mentioning the imperfections under the film showing through which I acknowledge are there because the clear coat is failing and the reason I wrapped the car in the first place. But I was not concerned or complaining about those imperfections. My sole complaint was the fact that the top layers of the film are peeling off. VVivid's comments regarding the attached photos was: "The abrasion patterns present are consistent with high-friction mechanical washing, which falls outside of recommended care guidelines." I explained that this car has only ever been hand washed with microfiber towels and has never been through a mechanical car wash nor have I used any buffers or other polishers on this film, but they just reiterated the same comment above. I am truly disappointed in the customer service I have received. I thought buying from a known brand instead of some cheap knockoff no name film would get me a better product with true customer service but I was sadly mistaken. So be aware that if your car is outside in the sun its probably not going to last and the warranty is just for show. ... show more
