For all you poor saps like me who have a Honda CRV with ugly wood trim, here's the answer! I purchased the 1x5' size. It was enough to do all 4 door trim pieces and two dash pieces. I've never done anything like this before, but after a couple youtube videos, I took a chance. Cut the pieces just enough that they would wrap around the edges and used my hairdryer on high to shrink it down tightly while appling it. (I did remove the door panels in order to take the trim pieces off. Much easier to wrap that way.) Didn't like how one piece turned out, so I removed it and reapplied it, great adheasion even on the second try! The material is fairly stiff, but becomes very moldable once heat is applied. Been installed for over a month now, no bubbles, no lifting. Try this, it's great!!! ... show more

Background- purchased to customize a dashboard. I'm no stranger to vinyl in general, but I've never used it on my vehicle. I'm pretty crafty/handy and didn't think this would be too much of a challenge... My dashboard has some protruding/rounded air vents that were a small concern going into this. I read the instructions in advance, I prepped, and I made sure I had lots of time to get the job done. On the flat surfaces/portions this stuff was GORGEOUS!! But I struggled to stretch it smoothly over the rounded sections, even with heat. It just wouldn't shrink enough to cover the returning portion of the vent without wrinkling no matter how much I stretched and re-tried. When I had settled for "close enough" and began trimming, the edges had visible white as the adhesive side of this vinyl is stark white. I didn't have the ability to tuck my edges in this situation so it just looked like 💩 and I wound up peeling it off and moving to a B plan. I am keeping what's left to possibly use for smaller customizations in the vehicle but I'm staying away from any surfaces that aren't a flat application where I can somehow conceal the edges. For me, overall, this endeavor didn't pan out. If I were to try again I'd get a thinner vinyl that didn't have a backing like this one did. ... show more

I ordered a 50ft and another 25ft and they sent me a 10ft, Amz was able to send me a replacement without the cost. Anyway I used the product to wrap my tesla and this was my 2nd time wrapping a whole car, but 1st time using this product. The wrap is not very tacky, maybe good for some work or when removing the film after awhile will be good but it is just not sticking. Especially for some curves or corners. The color is great, looks like a paint job. The product is also a lil' thick maybe almost like a PPF so it is a good protection, just doesnt stick! ... show more

I got this as a temporary fix for a paint chip that my car received after being home from paint for a few weeks. This was the closest color to my paint and it's close enough that I haven't bothered taking off and putting the touch up paint on the area. After being rained on several times I was worried about this peeling up or any lifting issues but haven't encountered any at all.
