  • Very good vinyl but try not to use if you are a beginner.
Size: 50ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Nardo Grey
Okay so I enjoy tedious work and I already work with vinyl. I used this vinyl for my first car wrap. It is on the thicker side, but with the right touch of heat, you can get it to lay. Very smooth. If you’re a beginner I suggest starting with 3M or Avery as it is way more user-friendly to begin with. but I learned a lot along the way and this vinyl is some good stuff if you know how to work with it. Try not to use a ton of heat until you reach curvy areas and are ready to post heat. DONT FORGET TO POST HEAT!! If you need to just go find videos on YouTube for proper post heat instruction. I skipped a few areas and they because to lift but that was my fault! So I was able to go back and post heat and it hasn’t lifted again. I post heat at 180 degrees. Also don’t forget to clean surfaces very well, wash, degrease, use alcohol before applying to each panel. You will love this vinyl if done right. You got this 💯 ... show more

  • 1st time wrapping, went great, 50ft roll for Jeep Wrangler
Size: 50ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Muscular Magenta
FIRST: I was very worried about the color especially because pictures on amazon were lacking. The color is different in different lighting, as all colors are, but in natural or bright light it is that glam hot pink we wanted! It does come across as darker magenta in poor light but we also have custom hot pink seats in our car and in low light people always call them red, that is just how pink looks in low light. Look at the difference between the door being wrapped on my kitchen table vs outside by the waterfall, big difference. First time wrapping. Did it with my wife. Im very skilled DIY and she is not so much but likes to partake in everything - that being said, I was able to handle the material and figure it out. She couldn't figure it out even after days of working with it. My point being is that wrapping in general actually takes some skill. I even struggled through most of this project but was able to correct most of my mistakes. Couple of notes.. 1) this was my first time wrapping anything so it was a huge undertaking and did not realize how technical some of the tougher part would be. 2) If you stretch the material with heat, it is very difficult as a beginner to get the material to be predicable after that. After about 40 hours of working on this project i was able to more freely use the heat gun without shooting myself in the foot. 3) The adhesive is pretty awesome but there are definitely a few places where i felt like i had to really melt the material to get it to stick, but it was the same level of adhesion that was very forgiving when I was correcting my own mistakes 4) I watched about 15 hours of instructional videos before I did this. As far as the final finish, its incredible and turns heads everywhere we go. ... show more

  • Simple and much cheaper than cerakote!
Size: 1ft x 5ft Color: Matte Miami Teal
Works pretty good. This color is very similar to Cerakote Eggshell Blue (Tiffany & Co color). I have never used vivid before. It is convenient to be able to peel up and readjust it, however it doesn't seem to stick very good like I'm used to with Oracle 651 vinyl sticker material. So working with stretchable vinyl wrap was a learning curve. A heat gun is a must. My wife's hair dryer was too much air speed for the temp that it put out. I bought a new $20 Wagner heat gun and things went much smoother. I was able to heat and stretch over the complex curves. It seemed difficult for me to cut a straight line up against the vent rib on the barrel. I did just the barrel of another shotgun a few years ago with standard sticker vinyl and it was easy to trim and make straight lines. All and all, it looks decent (only cost me $15 for 5 ft) and my daughter was extremely happy. Some day I'll get it Cerakoted and it will be easy to peel the wrap off. ... show more

  • Easy to use with heat gun
Size: 1ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Muscular Magenta
I tried to use this to wrap my emblems on my mustang. It didn’t work well but it was because of the emblem shape not product!

  • Good quality especially for the money
Size: 10ft x 5ft Color: Matte Metallic Purple
Color was on point and installation is straight forward with a basic knowledge of doing a vynil wrap. Definitely easier with 2 people.

  • Don’t buy, spend the money and order the real stuff
Size: 6ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Black
But Avery or 3m. I bought this trying to save a few bucks. Its trash. The adhesive is crap even once heated. Tried on multiple items. Used followed their guides and instructions and even did some extra stuff and this stuff was just trash other then on bare metal and even then the wraps quality was just awful. Came with about a 6 inches on both sides of the roll unusable due to table and scratches during there cutting process, and on the ends of the roll it had about 1/2 inch on both sides damaged due to poor packaging. The usable side had a nice gloss finish but the item was so low quality before heating rolling it out damaged part of the finish. ... show more

  • Not as good as 3M
Size: 3ft x 5ft Color: Matte Black
I am very new to vinyl wrap, so take this with a grain of salt. However, I found Vivid compared to 3M to each have their pros/cons. My biggest issue is adhesion. It's far less tacky than anything I've come across, the only thing it likes to stick to is itself. Even some Vivid lighting tint was more sticky than this stuff... What I like: - Decent price, shipped fast, received in good shape with minimal damage - Satin black seems like a good compromise between glossy and dead flat, making it flat but not so easy to pick up marks - Stretches really nicely with heat, but makes it easy to over do it - Decent thickness What I don't like: - Little adhesion out of the box, disappointing amount after post heat - Even with post heat areas of tension creep and won't stick like 3M does (no glue or edge treatment used on either) - Doesn't snap back like 3M does making the vacuum forming effect hard to achieve - It goes very soft as it "heals" and often marks are hard to heat out - Poor cold stretching making you rely more on heat 3M works and this stuff might too, but I am still very new to this and don't have the time to figure out what will make this wrap last. It's worth a try, maybe flat surfaces are where this stuff excels. I am wrapping complicated chrome pieces and this stuff is just not working for me. ... show more
