Description

VViViD Vinyl is designed for DIY’ers, offering premium wraps with industrial-grade durability and effortless installation. Whether you're customizing your vehicle or working on a professional project, VViViD provides the perfect balance of quality, flexibility, and ease of use. We've been in the vinyl wrapping game for over 10 years, trusted by millions of customers and showcased in world-class car shows. Our user-friendly vinyl wraps are easy to install and come with 500+ hours of video tutorials to help you get started. So why wait? Choose VViViD for your next vinyl wrapping project and experience the perfect combination of quality, affordability, and innovation! Post-heating is a crucial step in vinyl wrap installation that ensures a strong bond, smooth finish, and long-term durability. It activates the adhesive, enhances conformability, minimizes wrinkles, and prevents lifting over time. Heat-setting also reinforces the vinyl’s shape memory, reducing distortion and improving resistance to temperature changes. Forgetting this step risks premature wear and poor adhesion, making post-heating essential for a professional, long-lasting wrap. Post-heating is critical to preventing edge lifting. When vinyl is stretched beyond the edge of a surface, such as a hood, it will attempt to contract back due to its memory. This causes the adhesive to weaken, and the vinyl may pull away from the edge. Skipping post-heating accelerates this process, leading to premature edge lifting. Proper heating ensures the vinyl stays securely bonded, preventing the edges from lifting over time. These are CKWraps' must have tools to smoothly install vinyl wrap. VViViD has all the tools you will need to start your next vinyl project. Prepare your vehicle for a flawless vinyl wrap installation with CK Wraps. The preparation you do beforehand is just as important as the installation itself. Proper prep ensures a smooth application, long-lasting results, and a finish you’ll be proud to show off every time. Always install your vinyl lengthwise to achieve a clean, uniform finish. Most vinyl films are directional — especially matte, satin, and textured finishes — meaning the way they’re positioned affects how they reflect light. Proper alignment ensures a seamless, professional look every time. Hybrid plastisol coating creates a self-healing surface, protecting against swirls, abrasions, and scratches. Heat gun removes most damage. Our solvent-based acrylic adhesive cures in 40-ft evaporation tunnels, ensuring it won’t damage paint and allows repositioning without harm. VViViD’s air-channels vanish over time, ensuring a strong bond that won’t lift, peel, or allow contaminants and moisture to seep in. Advanced UV absorbers and light stabilizers protect against fading, cracking, and sun damage, with new improvements every quarter. How to know what size of vinyl do I need for my project? Measure the longest points of your project, keeping in mind VViViD vinyl is always 5ft wide. Use a sizing chart for reference, buy a little more extra vinyl for errors, and use seams for large surfaces if needed. Can my vinyl wrap survive the winter? Yes! Your vinyl wrap can survive winter with proper care. Use a ceramic coating like FUSE for protection, wash regularly with a vinyl-safe soap, avoid scrapers, and don’t use hot water or high-pressure washers. Park in a garage when possible. What tools do I need to wrap my car? You'll need a heat gun to stretch and set the vinyl, a knife for precise cuts, a squeegee to smooth out air bubbles, buffers for the squeegee edges to prevent scratches, and a tucking tool for clean edges and tight spaces. Why VViViD vinyl wraps are better than paint? At VViViD Vinyl, our wraps are more affordable than paint, fully reversible, and protect your car’s original finish. Unlike paint, wraps resist chips, UV damage, and scratches. Plus, they install faster and offer endless design possibilities! Does this vinyl wrap require a heat gun for installation? Yes, you will need a heat gun as the vinyl's adhesive is heat activated. Heat softens the vinyl which makes it more pliable and stretchable, making it a lot either install. Post heating also contributes to the long term durability of the vinyl wrap.

  • A beautiful color!
Size: 6ft x 5ft
If you have never used Vvivid, it is sticky and stiff. This is not 3M so don’t expect it to be like it. Other then that it worked it looks great and I’m happy with it!

  • Absolutely love this
Size: 1ft x 5ft
I had a vision of making my decals for my SUV windows and how I wanted them to look. It took me a while to find the perfect vinyl, but this was it. It cut and transferred perfectly. One of the designs I did has some small lines and they don't want to stay down perfectly at the tips but I'm still completely happy with it. I've had me decals on for a few months now and they are still the exact same as when I put them on. ... show more

  • Easy to apply
Size: 1ft x 5ft
Got this for a project, then changed plans. Recently decided to use it to put ghost flames on my dark teal blue car. I had to piece them a bit due to the size of area I wanted to cover. I was very happy with how easy it was to deal with. It was easy to reposition and work out the bubbles. I still have a couple of tiny bubbles due to my own impatience. I used a heat gun to try to activate the glue thoroughly. I just put them on, so no idea how they will last, but I really like how they turned out! ... show more

The color is beautiful, and it was very easy to use. I used it to cover the top portion of my laptop and it came out nice.

  • Color is amazing, cut on Cricut Explore 3 easy
Size: 1ft x 5ft
As you can see in the photo, I purchased this to cut a vinyl decal for my mobile tattoo studio. *I just cut and applied it yesterday so I can’t speak to the longevity yet, but the color shift is really great and exactly as pictured. It has just enough sparkle in it to flash but not enough to be gaudy and I like that it’s darker when out of the sunlight, making it easier to read at a distance. Because of the glossy texture I had some reservations about whether or not it would cut well on my Cricut, but I went for it and I’m glad I did because it cut perfectly and easily. It was about average to weed, not the easiest but not the worst I’ve dealt with either. Unfortunately, the transfer tape that I used was ridiculously sticky and made transferring tough. I was pleasantly surprised that throughout that process the vinyl didn’t tear at all and it was easily lifted off of the surface and placed again, while I got the alignment where I wanted it to be. It maintained a good stretch and applied easily despite the difficult time I had with the transfer tape. I’m sure if I had used tape with less grip, the process would have been simpler. All in all, I’m really happy with the quality and so far, after applying a medium amount of heat, the bond seems strong. *I’ll update this review as time goes on. I’m optimistic that this will last the 3-5 years that the manufacturer states, but time will tell. ... show more

  • Don’t sleep on this product for DIY projects
Size: 1.5ft x 5ft
This applied seamlessly to a live edge acacia wooden coffee table. The quality is top notch, no bubbles and adhesion was perfect! The color gives and then some and it’s really a durable surface covering. I love that I discovered this vinyl, it’s so multi functional! At $11 buck per side, you can’t beat the value for your money! I highly recommend this for the DYI’ers out there! I will say the color pops best on items that are in a well lit area, as it shows the full spectrum of colors! ... show more

  • Beautiful but hard to create good seams
Size: 25ft x 5ft
Update two years later. It looks horrible. It does spend time in the sun and the hood and trunk have awful burned black spots all over them. The whole reason I wrapped my car was because of the sun damage on the hood and now it looks like I'm going to have to replace it every year. I'm very disappointed with how poorly it has held up. I don't have the time or patience to ever wrap this car again. I've also had troubles with bubbles and seams pulling apart and more wrinkles. At this point I would not recommend it unless you are going to have your car in a covered space all the time. I also used a specific spray after washing that was supposed to help with UV protection and prolong the life of the vinyl. First, this wrap is gorgeous. I love the color so much. But after watching so many videos of people using this brand, I had higher expectations for doing it myself. Several days later I still have bubbles that keep coming back, lots of little wrinkles and creases that I could not work out, I had to do several more seams than I wanted to because I just could not get it to stretch and wrap well around curvy bumpers and complicated pieces. I thought the seams looked pretty good but once it was out in the heat of the sun some of the seams are starting to pull away and shrink more so I can see the original color of the car. That's what I'm the most concerned about. Shrinking away from precisely cut edges and carefully placed seems are looking bad now. ... show more
