This was my second time using vivvid wrapping on my motorcycle. The first time held strong for over a year but I decided to change from camo to this nardo grey high gloss. Couldn't be happier, I was even more surprised of how glossy this wrap really is. My recommendation make sure to clean the surface area before applying, and if your doing it outdoors like I did... make sure to do the project around 55-70 degrees. This thin film is awesome, it is so thin it conforms to any surface. I had a bubbled up dashboard I removed and placed a thicker vinyl using glue. That was a bad idea. Vvivvid vinyl comes with a layer of adhesive. I doubled up where I had gaps, had to see it is there. I also covered a driver seat bucket with it, it holds great. The warmer climate helped, Vinyl loves heat. I recommend heating it up with a hair dryer to cover curves. I will use it again. (bumps in the picture are from the previous cover.) ... show more

    • Vinyl edge curling on Dashboard in sunlight.

Had difficulty putting this vinyl on the Dashboard of a car. A certified car wrap guy stopped by to help with all his cleaners and tools to assist in the install. He laughed after looking at the adhesive backing on the vinyl and told me it will not stick properly to the Dashboard. Since the Dashboard is already textured, the adhesive was not the proper thickness to stick to the textured pattern of the plastic dash. He was right. After 3 days in the sunlight some of the edges peeled loose from the dash. The vinyl was pulled off with ease and toss in the trash. The Dashboard was sprayed with flat black Plastisol and looks great now. Wasted of $28. ... show more

Mechanical properties good, appearance good. Thin, shows everything under wrap. Very poor adhesion. Adhesive supposed to be heat activated, but very weak, will not stay on concave surfaces. Especially when heat causes the vinyl to return to original shape. Tried to glue adding vinyl glue, melted wrap. Total loss of product. ... show more

Easy to work with and pretty "stupid proof". A heat gun is a must for healing and taking out imperfections as you go. Took forever to wrap one of my RV walls but looks great.

I got this to cover an old office chair and it's just plastic and difficult to cover around edges and especially corners. It just looks like I covered the chair in tape. Sure it covers, but doesn't look good.
