The product doesn’t look as good as I imagined in in my car. The wrap’s thickness reminds me of furniture vinyl. It’s really thiccc. Brand says it’s heat activated and then it says it’s easy to apply. Yes to simple surfaces, but once heat up and stretch it tears. I wouldn’t recommend this vinyl, I’ve used 3M in the past and never had this difficult time applying. I’ll try again with a more patience. FYI that small panel took me 20 minutes. The adhesive isn’t sticky at all. it’s true you can pull off the vinyl and start again with heat, but the vinyl will snap and tear. ... show more

I bought a cheapo dash cap for my model 3 but didn't like the carbon-fibre look so I wrapped the dash cap with this and installed it. This is a great pattern for the model 3 dash, looks good, doesn't reflect much back to the driver. Thick and easy to work with, responds well to heat, stretches well. Make sure you have a new sharp blade to make your final detail corner cuts (if needed). When stretching, it warps the plaid deboss look which may not be the look you are going for. ... show more
