Once it's finished it looks great. I went from bronze to chrome. This vinyl is really easy to apply you just need patients, a sharp knife, and a good heat gun it took me about a 30 min per wheel.

I should have listened to the other reviews I read, but I thought if I followed instructions very carefully I could do this. I bought another kit for a bumper as well. After multiple tries on the rims and bumper, I realized this isn’t for a layperson. If everything is brand new and perfectly clean, I could see it working for a professional. It seems to be a quality product as a whole, but the video is very misleading. It makes it seem simple, but you’re one piece of dust away from ruining the whole thing. If you’re a professional it’s probably great, but it’s not for a regular person.

I’ve wrapped these wheels about 6 times so I have a little practice. This is the best way I’ve found so far not to get air bubbles. Is to start on the end of the spokes an push to the center heat as u go. I run my heat gun on low at medium heat an I only hit the vinlyl for no more then 2secs. I start on a spoke an do a 1/4 of it at a time towards the center. U have to remember to keep pushing the vinyl to the middle all the way around evenly. Follow my pictures and pretty much the whole process. I peel the protective layer off before installing center cap. Take your time and u can doit. I like to leave about 2/16 around the edges I push the edge just a little bit over the lug nut holes. A the center Probly a half inch so the cap kinda holds the vinyl in place. Good luck

I have used VViViD vinyl wrap for many projects for my car. I recently purchased this set and applied it to my rims yesterday. There is a learning curve when doing rims as compared to flatter surfaces without gaps. People complaining about this product don't take the time necessary to use the product to its full potential. THOROUGHLY CLEAN THE SURFACE TO BE WRAPPED (I clean the surfaces with rubbing alcohol before wrapping), be patient, take your time, use a heat gun, sharp razor, have good lighting. DO NOT expect this to look professional one) if your are new to vinyl wrapping and 2) you don't take your time. Watch some videos and practice a little before actually trying to apply this to a project you want to look good. Don't listen to the negative reviews on this product. VViViD vinyl wrap is amazing. I am still very new to vinyl wrapping and this product is very forgiving and great for beginners. The adhesion is fantastic and the thickness is durable. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. (Will add photos later)

I purchased the Matte Black metallic wrap and it looks far better in my opinion than the gloss black I had before. I did by two types of vinyl wrap adhesive to help it stick and am still learning the process. Cleaning the wheel good with dish soap and then I used goo gone to remove all the tire shine and oils that can make it not stick and stay on. Lots of trial and error, but I found it kinda fun.

The film itself looks good, however… Followed all the instructions. Thoroughly cleaned wheels, used heat and pressure to apply the film. Looked good for the first two days but started peeling off from the wheels on day three.
