Nice product looks good. Take your time.. and it should come out ok. My only gripe is that it should come with 5 pieces you are gonna screw up the 1st one till you figure it out.. Update:: ok so after a few months still holding up good with some minor lifts here and there.. I bought a second roll to redo one of the tires and the adhesive suck. The 1st batch was perfect.

1st time working with vinyl. This product (4 separate sheets) made wrapping my 18" rims as easy as possible. Just not sure if this "Gloss Red" vinyl is going to be a close-enough match to my Volkswagen "Tornado Red" paint color. ??? Once the wheels are mounted on the car, I will decide. If the colors are close...the vinyl stays-on. If the tint of red is just TOO different, the vinyl will need to be peeled-off of all 4 rims. ::fingers crossed::

I have used VViViD vinyl wrap for many projects for my car. I recently purchased this set and applied it to my rims yesterday. There is a learning curve when doing rims as compared to flatter surfaces without gaps. People complaining about this product don't take the time necessary to use the product to its full potential. THOROUGHLY CLEAN THE SURFACE TO BE WRAPPED (I clean the surfaces with rubbing alcohol before wrapping), be patient, take your time, use a heat gun, sharp razor, have good lighting. DO NOT expect this to look professional one) if your are new to vinyl wrapping and 2) you don't take your time. Watch some videos and practice a little before actually trying to apply this to a project you want to look good. Don't listen to the negative reviews on this product. VViViD vinyl wrap is amazing. I am still very new to vinyl wrapping and this product is very forgiving and great for beginners. The adhesion is fantastic and the thickness is durable. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. The vinyl is durable and reacts to a heat gun pretty quickly. However, wheels that have depth may not be suitable with this wrap. The vinyl only stretches so far, and I recommend this on flat face wheels. I tried this vinyl on my 2010 C63 AMG stock 18s (see attached pic) but the vinyl didn't stretch far enough. I could have tried to piece out the vinyl, but I decided to powder-coat em instead of being cheap.

Definitely will say it would be much easier if you remove the rims and do them on a table but I didn’t have a jack. However, it worked great and is much easier to do with the right tools (I.e. heat gun, vinyl glove, exacto knife, etc). Took a lot of time to do but was well worth it in the end. Just make sure to clean your rims very well and then use your heat gun to reenforce the edges so that they adhere well. If you are new to vinyl wrapping, I suggest watching videos that teach the basics and practice on small items before going all in. Hope this helps and good luck to those interested in the product and wrapping scene.
