I was pleasantly surprised by this! Each column is separate but the drawers themselves can be moved around in various different ways. It's very sturdy and easy to clean. A good depth for storage in a medicine cabinet.

I ordered these for office supplies and they work great. Good quality. Most the other “similar items” are listed as 7” deep and these are 7.3” deep, so aside from unsharpened pencils, my pens, markers, sharpened and mechanical pencils fit. That extra .3” might help for some items.
