Good for DIY hoof maintenance between farrier visits
I use these for hoof trimming. My longtime farrier stopped serving my geographic area and it's been difficult to find a good hoof care specialist for basic barefoot trims who will take a new client. The best I've been able to find is a guy who doesn't trim bars or heels much, even when passed vet notes on heels needing to come down or bruising from overgrown bars (leading to bad angles and bars that lay over and create bruising). I use these nippers to clean up bars between his visits. They work well in my small hands and have enough leverage and sharpness to make the task reasonably easy. Hopefully I'll find a good enough farrier in my area that I won't need them someday soon, but until then I'm happy to have a tool that helps with the necessary DIY hoof care to keep horses sound.

Great multi use tool
I got this to trim the bars on my horses soles because here in the desert the feet are so hard I can't do it with a hoof knife. Works great!!!

Price to Quality Factors?
The price is good. The cutters work great on some branches but not good on all size branches. The quality is inconsistent on the cutters. I kept these, yet, I cannot recommend them.
