  • A must have for Bonsai lovers
Color: Satsuki
These scissors are well-made, ultra sharp, and delicate enough for accurate and atraumatic pruning.

  • Pointy and sharp. Perfect
Color: Satsuki
They are pointy and sharp, have a nice weight and appear to be well made. They also look to be forged and probably by hand-ish since you can see a few light tool marks. They are super sharp, perfect for Bonasi or pruning. A little more expensive than the HD garbage, but hopefully these last much longer. No idea what type of steel though, so I'm curious how they hold up on the long run. ... show more

Color: Satsuki
Haven’t got to fully use them but so far so good. Look good as just a piece of art next to bonsai.

  • This is the real thing.
Color: Satsuki
These scissors are exactly what you expect when you think of Japanese quality. Expertly crafted and very sharp! NOTE: The tips of these scissors are slightly crossed. This stops the blades from moving past fully closed and the handles will not touch. At first I thought that they were damaged, but after looking at it with a magnifying glass, I could see that it was fabricated that way intentionally. While a user manual does not come with the scissors, they do give you a link to download one. In that manual it says the following about the tip: "●Tip of Blade The tip of the blades may be crossed slightly for a maintenance purpose in case of the blades being chipped. It is not due to a deficiency of the workmanship.)" I don't fully understand what that means, but it does say that it is not a flaw. ... show more
