What little I've used them so far, they work really well. I'm a beginner and they might be designed for someone a little more versed but I'm ok with it. They are heavier than I expected and I'm only assuming they will last longer because of it. The wire cutters won't cut through annealed copper wire. The pieces are fine.

For the costs, I would say these are more than reasonable tools to buy. They come sharp, clean, and packed well. The only thing one should take note, is that the joints on the tools come pretty stiff. You will want to actuate the tool many many times ahead of time to work them in and allow them to have a smooth feeling response. I personally opened and closed them over and over while watching tv until the friction did it's thing, and finished them off with some 3-in-1 oil. The finish is nice and the cutting is clean and sturdy with smooth but tight pivot points. They come in a nice carry bag as well.
